Ken O'Gannon (x127) called my office and said he was calling on behalf of AT&T.  After several frustrating attempts to find out the nature of his call and explaining to him that my company is a member of the Federal Do Not Call Registry, he finally let me speak to his supervisor who promptly hung up on me.

Says ''I'm with the phone company, can is speak to the person in charge of your telephone bill.''  When I asked what telephone company, he said ''yea.''  Repeated the question, and he said AT&T; when I told he we don't use AT&T he said we do directly, that we had a dial tone.

My suggestion...tell them that you just signed a 5 year contract with another carrier.

We received a call from this number, saying they were from AT&T and were checking a report that someone had tried to switch us away from them and to another carrier.  They intend to file a complaint with the FCC and wanted my permission - suddenly they wanted all my phone numbers - so they could check everything out.  I

over the space of an hour was offered up to 30 percent off current costs of data and phone services. is a reseller/contact solutions management company named Global Solutions office out of LA. When the second attempt asked if I was wanting to switch to AT&T services for the company phone lines and I answered, "No, I am only asking for a quote at this point in time." The verifier with Human Touch Verification systems politely  terminated the process explaining that since I answered no there was no need to process any further on the conversation and that the services would not be swapped over. I was only told that I would be getting a quote... not switched over by this call. I would never switch services until I had numbers in front of me showing its smart to do so. Be careful of these calls. Get your info first then let the confirmation go thru.

I have received a call from them stating they  were AT&T.  They had the old business name associated with this phone number and were asking for my updated info.  When I asked them why they didn't have all account info if they were in fact AT&T the lady responded that they were a different branch and they were not updated.  They are supposedly offering to give you a discount off your phone bill and are extremely rude even though this is supposed to be a customer service call.  They are not really AT&T and I had to hang up on the woman.
