This is a phising scheme according to National Bank.  They are getting hit heavy through email, as well.  Do not reply to these people!

This is a phishing scheme that originated through a job market posting... Someone has gotten a hold of your resume attached with your phone number and used it to collect info.  This thriving circle originated in mountain view, CA.  Go pay him a visit!!!!!

got a text frommazuma credit union about verify account and payments and i dont even have an account with them

got text msg today multiple times -

Received text message twice:

"notification@mazuma.org /  / Welcome to Mazuma Credit Union smart banking system. Call now: 818-483-5663 to verify payments history and claim your Mazuma Cred"

Did not contact them in any way.  Checked out the Mazuma CU website.  Phishing for sure.

I've gotten 3 texts from this number in the last 30 minutes.

3 texts from them in 15 minutes

Got three texts from the Mazuma Credit Union.  Will not be responding.  Thanks for the tips.

I just got my fourth text text today saying to call this number. It also has an email address that it's sending the text from notifications@mazuma.org.

I got 4 texts within about 15 minutes from this #.  They all say Welcome to Mazuma Credit Union smart banking system.  Call now:  818-483-5663 to verify payments history and claim your Mazuma Credit Union 25$ fidelity bonus.
I have deleted them off my phone without responding.  But have tried to call this # from a different # to find out what this is and to  tell them to not send these texts.  They want your social security # no matter what option you choose.  
I will just continue to delete these texts I guess.  Unless someone else knows what to do!!!

I also recieved 5 texts from this number. they all said exactly how jules wrote them above. I called them and they asked for my social in order to recieve the $25 bonus. Hung up on them right there. Obviously a scam. I have never belonged to mazuma credit union.

The only reason i even called back was because i opened a checking account (with a different bank) recently and wondered if it had anything to do with that. Seems like just a coincedence.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SOCIAL SEC #.

4 text in like 15 minutes to my phone and my husbands...

I got no less than 6 texts from these people today. Everything said above is true; for me it was the Mazuma Credit Union being scammed as well. When you call they ask you for your SSN. DO NOT give it to them, duh.

They are now hitting T-Mobile customers. Four texts so far today, all claiming to be from mazuma credit union.  Area code 818 is from Southern California but could be from anywhere obviously

I have been getting them today too.  I tried calling the number and typing in 1234567890 for everything they wanted and then it said your information could not be verified please call back in 2 hours and DC me.  I am sure that would have said the same thing had I entered my real information.  I just want to know how to make them stop.  Its driving me nuts!  I am pregnant and in a bad mood today.  lol

They won't leave me alone - Text after text after text after text... I'm trying to get a hold of my wife to make sure she doesn't call and give out any information... This is kinda pissing me off.
