This automated call has dailed me up on my Canadian cell phone way too many times to care to list here. Because it is an incoming call I do not answer it as it is long-distance. This is more annoying than a mosquito in your ear!

How do you stop calls from other countries from a telephone number which is on the do not call list in Canada?  This is very annoying.  If I wanted to buy oil or gas shares I would contact companies from which you could buy them.  People have to speak up and voice their concern.  This is not the first....nor the last unfortunately telemarketing company who will call but having them monitored by their own government and assigning repercussions may make them think twice before dialing Canadians who do not wish to receive such calls.  A do not call list means unsolicited telephone calls are unwanted plain and simple.  Respecting people's wishes would be a good thing, don't you think?

This number comes up as IVR on my blackberry.  I don't know what IVR actually stands for or what they do.
Unsolicited calls piss me off.  If I want or need something, I will do the research and contact them.

This number has called me on my Canadian cell phone so many times... up to 5 times in one day! Because it is a long-distance call from the states I don't answer it. Really annoying though!!

I got a call from this number on our house phone.  They asked if I would like to make an investment in their company.  I said very loudly that that my number is on the National Do Not Call List and they promptly hung up.

For those who do not know it all cell phone numbers were make public. You have to register all your numbers on the National Do Not Call List and then if someone calls you report them.
