The man keeps calling at 6:00 am in the morning in the east coast time claiming that he is a lawyer and he is handling my case.  He keeps repeating that when the worlds worst english. Can't understand him. I have asked him to repeat he doesn't get any better. He keeps saying that he wants me to call his boss at some number. He is either from India or Africa.

I received a call today from this same number, the guy was very hard to understand.  He is a paralegal handling my case.  It was filed against my name and social security number.  He gave me a new number to call 1-818-579-7692 which was a mailbox number.

I just got a call 5 minutes ago from 818-579-7692. Couldn't understand him either and he said the same exact thing. Then gave me the number 818-579-7693 to call his boss. He said his name was Ronnie something (yeah right) and David Cooper and someone else that I couldnt understand was filing charges.

I finally got through and they answered. At first when I called, it said that it was a non-working number. He answered the phone saying his name was David Cooper. I asked to speak to Ronnie and there were 2 Ronnies there and in order for me to get to the right Ronnie he needed my phone number. After I told him I wasnt giving my number out he hung up on me. But he said that it was a law office...

i also called back and "david cooper" answered.  he will hang up or say never mind if you ask for address and tax id # to reference, tell him to contact your lawyer and he will hang up.  :)

I have been getting calls from this number for days but never any messages UNTIL they called my work and left a nasty message for me on our answering service! I called back and got some India sounding guy who said his name was Ronnie and that he work for the California judical system and that I was getting prosecuted for 3 different items! He will not stop calling either!

This guy's name he say's is Gary Jone's. It is farce!!!!!

It is a total scam. I told him I have an lawyer he he said to him my lawyer call him at this number 1-818-579-7694, and guess what it is a non working number. I called my cell phone company and have blocked his phone numbers which are as follows:

1-818-579-7692, 7693, 7694 and also comes in also as 10,000 number. This guy is crazy.

Now, I'm ok with random calls due to the line of businessI'm in but when you call me random and have my social it's a problem. Not only do I want them to stop calling me i'd really like to know how and where they got my social.

The guy told me that I owed money to Instant Cash, when I told him I never borrowed money from them he said he was sorry fir the mistake and hung up. I reported them to my local police dept.

this phone number 818-579-7693 called so many times where i use to live, pls stop hassling people remember you have eyes mouth arms and feet pls find a descent work to provide your needs not to bully people and take there money out there pocket. i work  my blood and sweat so as the people are complaining this number 818-579-7693. pls stop you are smart you have a gift that god gave you.. pls do not use this in evil way. i only have 1 dollor in my acount name, im broke and unemployed.

when i called the # it went to voicemail it was full, then i called the # they called from and a guy anwers saying that i got a online loan and i didnt. they said that a cop will come and get me from my work, and then told me to have a good day and then hung up on me.

I just received a phone call from 818-579-7692. They called my cell number and work number. It was a guy that said his name was Martin Smith and he wanted for me or my attorney to return his call to 818-579-7693. I could barely understand his english. Told me that if I ignore his request to call him back that he will have to take matters into his own hands and good luck. I have saved the recording to give to the local police. I felt threatened.

I was called , told to talk with there's  lawyer ask for what? told me to hold on . I said my sister is a lawyer so give your lawyer number so we can get to the bottom to this. He said sorry wrong number goodbye

This is crazy, they had just told me that they were the F.B.I. I was under the impression that the F.B.I. was from the United States? Silly me maybe Filipino Beureu of Investigation? Lol they should not have called me, wrong person to call. I am gona call the real feds and let them know that they are being impersonated. This is extremelly illegal.

this number called me. i finally got through to them and some foreign guy answers. i ask who it is and they say they are the "FBI". I ask what they want and he says "I dont know whats your number?". I tell him that I refuse to give that info to him and he then starts swearing at me. I have also received calls from 7692 and 7694

Calling the Feds, your local government, etc won't do any good.  They are well aware of these scam artists.  Unfortunately, they call from outside the US apparently using Google #'s.  I have been dealing with these a--holes since December 2009.  The #'s change often, but the script remains the same.  They just called me again and the person's name was Eric.......  I have come to expect these random calls every 8-10 weeks.   I have learned to ignore them.  Their threats are empty, much like their pockets since they feel the need to be lowest form of human scum out there.
