This number came up on our cell phone as a missed call? Our number is fairly new and only family members have the number. Who it is; is unknown.

Received the call tonight at 7:35. Called it back, it's answer financial...I did some inquiries for car insurance quotes today and remember coming across that name.

I have recently been looking for car insurance quotes. I filled out a form online at answerfinancial.com, and someone called me in response using this phone number (818-644-4111). I wasn't sure whether I should trust them, so I googled the number and checked the company out at the Better Business Bureau. They are a legitimate company, apparently, but I'm hoping I don't start getting frequent calls from them.

Got a call from this number tonight after looking at insurance. Funny thing.... when I answered some "gangsta" was talking about the show Lois& Clark and going to a T-Pain show. After listening to them for a few minutes I said "Hello..." and they hung up.

Got a call from this number after looking for car insurance. I do not pick up the calls from Numbers that Iam not aware. I usually listen for VM and then call back them..Not going to call them back after seeing the above inputs..

Call from 1-818-644-4111 they did not leave a message. I, like others have done some online insurance quotes. May be from them.

Got a call from them as well, right after requesting information.

I assume they're legit, but I went straight to  a local agent for insurance.

What really gets me is the fact that they have a link on their site to request a call back. Why have that page if they're going to call you anyways?

I hope someone from there is reading this, because if I wanted to talk to a salesperson, I'd go to a physical office|store. It really pisses me off when someone calls out of the blue to try to entice you to buy something.

Oh yea, besides all of that, their site is crap anyways. I might have completed the process of buying coverage from there because the rates were low, but they have a nice limit of characters you can enter for your car's VIN number, which is 1 shorter than what mine is (triple checked it). Who's the rocket scientist that came up with that?

I was doing insurance quotes and within 10 mins of that they called me.i do not pick up calls from unknown numbers,i usually wait for a message and they didnt leave one.

I too was doing insurance quotes and within 3 minutes got the phone call. I don't pick up from unknown #'s - especially from area codes such as theirs and did the google # search just to see. Yup, Something very fishy about that kind of 'rapid' response.

same thing...I am getting numerous calls from various numbers all beginning with (818)...all after looking up car insurance info online.  I have not been answering and they have not been leaving voice mail...must not be too important.

Applied for insurance and sure enough here come the calls

I received the call after filling out car insurance info as well.  I actually picked up the call and they were extremely helpful.  They quickly got through everything for car insurance and gave me quotes from many different companies.  If all works out well, I will be very impressed by their service...if it does not work out well...I will be back to revise my details :).  Talked to a man named Brian.  They are based out of Knoxville.  If you don't hear a complaint from me in the next few weeks, apparently everything checked out and I am very pleased with my extremely rapid response and friendly service.

Same happened to me, after filling out the form for auto insurance quotes, I get calls from all kinds of unkown numbers, also got regular mail and emails, and no instant quotes at all, which is all I wanted is to be able to compare online.  I don't ever answer an unkown number, and if they don't leave a message too bad.  Even if they did, I wouldn't call back, I did not sign up to talk to people or have them call me.  I just wanted to compare some prices.

I filled out some things at insweb.com (because it was in an article at SmartMoney), and I got this call today too. I would say avoid giving your phone # to that site.
