I noticed this number appear on my caller id several times when I was not home to answer it. Call just came in and when I answered it, it was a young Hispanic/Latina girl asking for Emily...but I could hear noise in the background. It sounds like a call center to me.

I have recieved several calls from this number within a 24 hour period over the course of a few months. The caller ID says SKYTEL PAGING. I looked up the ID and it appears to be a 3rd party calling system comanies might use to avoid being tracked through caller ID. Motorolla is one of the phone companies listed that uses SKYTEL most frequently. Hope this helps!

It said Skytel so I figured it was lowlife telemarketers..

I called back from a blocked number and they had a recording saying to get an agent press 1 to be removed press 9. I just hung up.

Something about energy efficient home appliances....

They are an energy efficiency company.

Received a call from 818-661-2520 and the caller ID says SKYTEL PAGING. I attempted to return the call within 10 mins and was told that it was not a working number. Funny, it was 10 minutes ago! What up with that crap? Can't even tell them to stop!

Called my cell phone several times over the last few days, but they never leave a message.  

More scumball criminals calling with a spoofed number and trying to steal people's money.  Why would any sane person do business with these people?

Got calls from this lowlife "company" for months now. Wouldn't identify themselves. They always asked for my Mother In Law by name.
I could tell it was a call center, because when I would say Hello, there would be "dead air" , in other words, complete silence...then, I'd say hello again, and all this background noise would happen, and a voice asking for my Mother In Law.
When I would ask who is it, they would just hang up.
BTW, My mother in law has never lived at our home, or had our unlisted (and on the DNC list) number.
But because my name is the same as my Mother In Laws, somehow, they started calling here.
Annoying, and creepy because my Mother In Law died over a year ago.
See, I didn't have caller I.d. before. But, now I do. When the caller i.d. said Skytel Paging , that raised a red flag for me.
So, when I got this call, the salesperson (scumbag telemarketer), started saying, blah,blah blah, Andrea.
I said she died over a year ago.
Then there was dead silence from the other end.
The salesperson apologized, then said "Oh, I'm sorry, I'll take your name off the list".
I said thanks, haven't heard from them since.
Hey, everyone...BTW here's a tip I learned. If you say hello the computer on the other end then knows it's a valid number and send the  message to the salesperson to start talking.
If you say just about anything else, it's likely to make the computer think it's a business or out of service phone number. And you'll usually get disconnected. And with a little luck, they zap you from the list....

Had this call yesterday, added to blocked list on Panasonic phone which can block 30 #s. Combined with my phone service of 30 free blocks = 60. Spoofed #'s are rampant. I never answer #'s I don't recognize, just let them go to vm. There's rarely a msg. I check this site regularly. Thanks all for your input.

So damn tired of receiving NUMEROUS DAILY phone calls from Skytel Paging!
Have been home recovering from surgery....and I've answered a few times to
politely tell them 'take me off the call list', and they keep calling!!!
Tired of it.....time for a legal letter to refrain from harassment!!!

I've rec'd 4 calls from this phone number in the past 2 days. They never leave a message and I don't answer calls I don't recognize.

Do not answer the phone that numbers you don't reconized.  because there is to much scams going on becareful.  do not give your money to these kinds JERKS,SCAMMERS,LOWLIFE, CLOWNS. do not answer the phones because they try to scared people.

They hang up on my machine

I have a biz line through ATT wireless. I am sure I am missing business calls due to the zillions of calls I get from scumbags. I am on do not call list but they do not block robo callers. I hate these people. A lot of them use google phone so I blocked one google number and all google calls are blocked ( particularly the calls from pakistan/India use google talk because it' free for the I assume and there is an echo. Those are all blocked now only international telemarketers will use google talk it's not free, viber or what's app are free for your contacts only on mobile phones so you won't generally get telemarketers). That's what I did. At first google talk i used when my contacts were overseas but my connections were poor and then new apps came out, I am so sick of these calls! I never buy anything! EVER! They are being sold bad prospect lists from someone.Maybe prior person who had phone number or they just figure they will hit the jackpot when someone is drunk. Call is bogus energy saving company
