I got a call from a man with an accent saying he was Frank Johnson and that I was being sued for a $300 loan I took out and never repaid. I have never taken out a loan but the man said he knew my SSN, where I work, and my bank account info.
I told him that I didnt have a loan but he kept hassassing me and when I would question him, he would not give me answers. He would say "i can't disclose that info." I hung up but called back to see what phone # was and a man answered and this time he was Steve Johnson! I questioned him again and he started getting beligerant and swearing at me! I called my sister and the next thing I know he is calling my sister! I DID NOT give him her #. Somehow HE/THEY are getting into my phone for Info!!! I have called my phone company and they are doing an investigation now! Beware everyone this is scary when someone can get info without your knowledge from your cell phone.

Received a call from a man identifing himself as an IRS Agent Frank Jones from the Tax Audit Department of the IRS claiming that there was an outstanding debt, (source unknown) and a lein being filled against my income taxes.  As the man spoke with a very difficult to understand accent, I request to speak to someone more fluent.  I do not have any outstanding loans and I informed him that my wife was a retired IRS Agent.  He provided a phone number which was the same as he called from and advised that this number would be to his supervisor, Sebastian Taylor.  My wife then called the number and the person who answered , said he was Sebatian Taylor of the IRS.  My wife then informed him that she was calling in response to his phone call and identified herself, name and prior position with the IRS.  She requested Taylor's emplyee ID number, and he responded with a number, that would have been invalid with the IRS. When she informed Taylor of this, he responded, "[***] YOU", and hung up.

I got a call from 818 666 7630 stating he was Frank Johnson.  the person said I had an outstanding loan with the IRS.  The funny thing is that I am selling my home.  I went and looked up the phone number and found all this info.  Thanks for the info. on this website.  The other funny part is my phone number is not under my name but my mother's but he knew my name.  I wonder if someone within these background check agencies are selling info. so we panic since we are selling a home.  I know I have no loan nor owe any money.

Call from woman with South Asian Accent claiming to be from IRS, asking for name of my criminal attorney. Asked her for proof she represented IRS; she merely repeated her previous couple of sentences. I hung up.

    An obvious phishing expedition.

I received a call from that number: 818- 666-7630 today, Sept. 18, 2014.  The caller said his name was Sebastian Taylor. He, too, was very heavily accented.  H said he was with the IRS and that I owed $4688.00 in back taxes and that I had until 5pm today to pay it or the sheriff was coming to arrest me.  When I told him this call sounded like a "scam," he began yelling at me and said I would be reported for calling the IRS a scam! I called the IRS and was told to log onto TIGTA.gov and file a claim to have this telephone number investigated. Whomever this shyster is, he should be ashamed of himself.  I hope they catch him and prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law! I hope no elderly person has been dooped into sending this fool money!
