Dept. of Treasury legal affairs SCAM....Arabic speaking man named James Parker....When asked the address of the office was told F you......

"Department of Legal Affairs, call back with your attorney" - "Shawn Adams" with a heavy Indian accent...

Asked for by name and said they were US Treasury Dept. and I will be arrested and get a criminal lawyer.

Asked for by name, Arabic or Indian accent woman, had a long story about criminal proceedings and to contact them right away.  From Department of Legal Affairs.  Asked to call them back at 760-849-4844, a different number of course then the caller id number.

You could here other callers in the background, you could also tell they were reading a script.

Nelson Cotter is another scam artist that called. Very threatening to me did not call back but as the others stTed scripted

Just got the call.  I laughed at him and told him my husband would call him.... Oh this is going to be good!!!

ditto just called me... said the authorities would be at my address in 2 hours... im waiting  hahahaha

Same general theme, they left a message.  James Harper asking for a person who no longer lives here.  Some long story about legal stuff, the Dept of the Treasury, call back soon with a criminal lawyer, etc.  He sounded very tired.  Wonder how many calls is his quota each day!  SMH

Got a call from this number.  Heavy accent.   Says that he is from Department of Treasury.  Funny, I've dealt with IRS and Department of Treasury (Property Tax), but they've never called me to say anything about Legal Action against me.  They have sent letters, though.  It's obviously a scam.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

called asking for someone who hasn't lived here for 6 years. Gave the name Norma Rodriguez and said it was a "legal matter", please have the individual call her back at that number.

Just got a call from 818-668-5371, saying his name was James calling from the US treasury. Saying we owed almost $5000 from 2012 taxes. Wtf?!

Amazing 818 668-5371 asking for my wife, The IRS is filing legal issues against her... She doesn't even work and hasn't for the past 30 years. When I started to question him he hung up.
Sounded like he was from India

Got a call from this number said his name was Sean Adams with Department of legal affairs, had indian accent. Said to have a redeemed attorney to call back. Or further action would take place.  Hope you get these guys!!
