Scammers (probably habitual offending criminals) soliciting sketchy vehicle sales services. Do not give these scumbags any personal information! Reported to FCC.

I received a call from this place, but I wasn't home and they left no message.  I Googled the number and it's supposedly a place called "Affordable Locksmith" in Hollywood, CA.  The next day they called again, and I was home.  They talked as if they wanted to buy my motorcycle that I have posted on Craigslist, but it didn't take long to get to the real story.  They wanted me to pay them $200 (!) to advertise the motorcycle online in various places.  When I politely said no the lady cut my sentence off and hurriedly threw out a canned response, something like "well thank you for your time" and quickly hung up on me!

Received call today, saw my vehicle on Craiglist, they also advised they would advertise it on many different list that receive more views then Craiglist. Want 200 dollars to post my add. Also wanted my e-mail address so they could sent me additional info. Of course they received nothing.

They call and I answered and no one on the other side.  maybe they want me to call them back.   but no.  scammers.

Called from California about a motorcycle that I have for sale on Kijiji Saskatoon. Said they had a "client" in my area that was interested. Called me 3 times before I answered. Never let them get to the sales part - told them that I wasn't interested and hung up. I don't understand why nothing can be done regarding these dbags!!

Much the same as above, phone call wanting to help me sell my vehicle posted on Craigslist.  Phone number shows that it's a California number, but the person I spoke with stated he was based in Las Vegas, but not until after 3 previous calls that were answered and no one said "Hello" back.  Stated that they thought I could get more money for my vehicle than I had it posted for.  They could help me advertise in a lot of different places, help arrange financing for perspective buyer, and then arrange transport of the vehicle.  We were told as well that they had a perspective buyer and therefore I let them know that there was no need to advertise.  They ignored that fact and wanted money to pay for the advertisement.  I told them I wasn't interested, but they are still calling.

Great info, they just called me too and I have a motorcycle listed on Craigslist.

Yup called me today saying all the same things. The second he said needed 200 bucks I was like scam!

got an 818.738.7585 phone number and a lady "calling about your (my) vehicle" and gave me the same 702.266.9824 phone number... Thank you for the info., will defenitely not call this lady back!!!

They called me today for my car on sale on kijiji... but i dont speak english... he told me: i will call you back... sorry guy!! you can't fraud me!

Have car on Craigslist...wanted to adevrtise and they have several clients interested. LOL....SCAM stay away!

Same story. Called yesterday on my car on Craigslist. Asked a lot of the car even though I said I thought he was an agent wanting to sell it for me when I saw the LA no.. Oh no he said. WFT??? Said he worked in LA and in DC. Wanted to call back today to come and see the car. He called back but I didnt pick up :-)

Have received five calls from this number since I listed my car on kijiji and autotrader last week.  They did not leave a message but called in the day while I was at work.  Call display advised number from California.  Googled the number and got this and other sites.  Thought they were done calling and today I am on vacation and they just called again.  I answered this time,  There was a lengthy delay before someone spoke and then a friendly voice asked if my car was still for sale.  I replied not to them at their location and hung up.  They called back within a minute and I did not answer.

Just called and left me a message asking to call them at 702-366-9824 which is a Nevada area code. Caller ID gave 818-738-7585 as their number, which is California.

I'm in Alberta Canada selling a car on Auto Trader.

Fully expecting a call back.

They called me a bunch of times and never left a message. I do have a car for sale on Auto Trader.

I do love my Ooma phone service. Not only is it dirt cheap, but it has great features, including a black list. When you get a number like this, all I do is go online, put it on the blacklist and it goes straight to my voicemail without ever ringing in the house. The black list can be set for voicemail, always busy, or a "this number is no longer in service" message. I leave it on voicemail, just in case I accidentally put a legit number in there.
