- CCReceived two calls early in the morning, less then one hour apart. Blocked the number because of the threat left at the end of the voice mail. Woman spoke with a heavy accent. Not sure who the calls are originating from however.
- HsI received a call from these people and they told me there is a lawsuit against on some crazy claim but the crazy part about it was they had personal information I think I am a victim of Identity theft this is bad then the guy was rude when I asked questions told me to get a lawyer and hung up on me! Crazy!

- JenniferThis is a scam. I got calls from these people last October, and filed a complaint with my local police department. I closed my checking account and opened a new one just to be safe. The calls stopped for about 7 months and they started calling again yesterday. Please DO NOT verify any of your information with these people. You are not being sued and they cannot have you arrested.
I would also suggest adding yourself to the "NO CALL LIST" 888-382-1222.- Caller: Anderson & Davenport Attorney at Law
- Mrs TThis people have called me for a couple of days now early in the morning threatening me. saying may god help me as this situation unfolds. I called back they hang up the phone repeatedly. thank you for the no call list number.
- LilyprincessI think they are bill collectors...that is the only way they could have the personal information. I know that nobody would want to steal my identity...credit score is pitiful...but I do have a lot of debt collectors after me. It would make sense that a collection agency would use these nauseating tactics to verify information so they can secure garnishment orders etc. and try to scare you into giving them everything they need. all you have to do is ask them the case number and what the charges are...they don't have any information. I programmed my phone to automatically send their number to voice mail when they call so I don't have to be bothered with it. the thing that makes me laugh is that this whole scam would be a LOT more believable if they used people who actually sounded like American attorneys! Search up the name of the "law firm" they are calling from...it doesn't exist. :) (Anderson & Davenport)

- AutreyThis is some kind of scam. I work for a law firm and this is not the way they operate at all. Don't know just what they are after or what they are trying to get (probably your money somehow) but do not respond. If there were some kind of legal issue the first step would be to have a process server try to serve you personally. You have to have an address to serve an invididual. If that failed or you were trying to avoid service there are other means of trying to serving you and this is not one of them. This type of action is very unprofessional and the courts and attorneys do not operate this way.

- AMBERSO I GOT A VOICE MAIL LEFT THIS AM, THEN THEYCALLED MY WORK AS WELL! I THEN ATTEMPTED TO CALL THE WOMAN BACK AND I GET A MESAGE STATING THE VM BOX IS NOT SET UP AND THAT EHRE WAS AN ERROR AND CLICK. . so i tried agian after work. i got thru to some man named michael. the more questiions i asked the madder he got and hung up on me many times. they are saying that i have a court case pending in california for instantcash.com. that i supposedly got a payday loan from them and ws to pay it back in nov of 09 and there was no $$ for them to deduct from my checking.the voice mail she left me was threating . when i was originally read my afidavid it stated the nov 09 that i was to have paid back a loan to instantcash.com, but when i questioned how much and when the orginal deposit was made to my account, he saiid he didnt know it wsnt included in the document... so i called my court house they had nothing for me. i call the # back and questioned some more, i said who will serve me the papers? he said your local sherrif dept. i said well i talked to my local sheriff dept they know nothing of this. how can that be? the more questions i asked the more mad he got.and he said "oh well the document hasnt been downloaded yet so it isn't with wisconsin court system yet...?" i said ok when will i get papers he said noon tomorrow. and said" oh and by the way you do have til 5 o'clock to take advantage of a settlement of 434.00" (this is at 4:30pm) after i have made sooo many calls to them i was then told the amt I SUPPOSEDLY OWED and that there was a settlement offer? ?? i then went thru all my banking records since i opened my acct with my bank in 2008, there was never a deposit from this company or a try to withdrawal any type of funds ever and especially not in nov of 09! they, made threats to the send document from the court to my place of work, and that if i didnt go to court that they would have a warrant out for my arrest and they would come get me from california all he se threats came after i did all the questioning and after i got the settlement offer givin to me and i declined to take ADVANTAGE.

- TThese people are idiots! They called me about 10x yesterday saying I owe paydayusa.com money and I will
Be arrested soon! They said they have my checking account info which is a crock since I don't have a checking account, I've never done business with a paydayusa. After I told Angela Anderson the lady who refers to herself as an attorney to do what ever she feels she needs to but to stop calling me, she got real rude which pissed me off! So from reading these posts I can't wait for her to callback!!!!- Call type: Prank

- MJPiece of [***] "James Robinson" called with a thick East Asian accent claiming I had a payday loan with a company called Cash 1. He left a vm telling me how important it was to call him back & if I didn't "As the situation unfolds, may God bless you." I called the number back and he was very aggressive and unprofessional. I was alarmed only because he knew my previous employer. I ended the call and immediately called the company he purported to work for. The Administration Dept. at Cash1 says this company has been scamming individuals for a while, but they are very aware of it. Please be cautious of giving/confirming details of your livelihood.

Tried to call back and get the name of this so called law firm and understood it to be Anderson and Law Associates, but the b*tch's accent was so deep by the 6th time she said it (she kept interrupting me and trying to find out who I was), I hung up. Tried to google the name and found nothing thus far.- Caller: Anderson and Law Associates

He uses the name Dean Jones as well. If you get a call from him, ask him for his Bar Association number. Since he claims to be an attorney.
I run the switchboard for a fortune 500 company and this guy calls all the time for different employees.
It is a scam according to the Ohio Attorney General's Office.
Contact your state Attorney General's Office and file a complaint.
