I received a call from Lee @ K Beach Inc that called my JOB and left a message with my MANAGER that he needed to speak to me concerning an important legal matter. I am never late on any bills, don't owe anybody anything, and not involved in any legal matters. So I called the number 1-818-748-6023 and this guy said the call is about a legal matter pertaining to my sister and he found my number because I use to live at the address she is currently at! How dare he!!! I don't care if it is my sister and its a legal matter! He called my job, and left a message with my manager that made it look like it was about me!!! I am so pist at him, I cursed him out! He better not ever call my job again or I will find his address, fly to the state he is located in, and give him a piece of my mind in person! I am not kidding!!! It would be worth it to me to confront him face to face after doing something like this to me! My combined credit score is 805!! I think that speaks for itself!

I recieved a phone call on my cell phone and they stated that I was named in a lawsuit where I had downloaded movies and distributed them.  I am so angry.   the man said I could settle with them.  I will not let this happen.  I will file my own lawsuit against these people.  I had scams.

Called me and left a voicemail on behalf of some video studio telling me to contact him regarding potential litigation. He claimed that he was unable to contact me for months and this is a last attempt... blah, blah, blah...

So I called to find out what he was talking about. He started explaining something about bittorrents, my ISP, last chance... (again) blah, blah, blah...

I informed him that I don't talk to people cold calling me about money over the phone. I told him he would need to communicate with me in writing. That made him angry, and he told me he is not required to mail me anything.

Then, I asked him if he were an attorney... He informed me that he is NOT!  He works for the potential plaintiffs. Ahhhhhh, it dawned on me. He is most likely a debt collector by profession. Problem here, there is no judgement therefore I believe no grounds to harass.

This guy "Lee" called my fiance's parents in another state looking for me!  Apparently someone downloaded and distributed porn back in June of 2011.  Funny thing is, he contacted my fiance's parents (who I've yet to meet), and I hadn't even met him yet!  He claimed to remain anonymous until after a settlement was made.  He got upset with me saying someone did all this from my IP address, and that Cox Communications gave him all of my information.  I have never downloaded/distributed porn in my life!  I'm so insulted!  My aunt is a detective, and she says this is a scam.  An investigation will be opened with the Attorney General.

i got a call today from lee looking for a childhood friend of mine--we're friends but rarely in touch--about 'an important legal matter.'  especially because i have so little connection with my friend, i told him i had no interest in getting involved.  SUPER CREEPY--don't know HOW i was associated with this particular friend.

Just got a call from Lee Fortuny with Malibu Media claiming I had distributed porn illegally and that they had my IP address from my ISP. I asked him for the specific dates, which he gave me, and then I informed him I was not actually a subscriber of that ISP at the dates in question. At this point he started to get irritated with me and started going on about how he "knew I was guilty." It'll be interesting to see where this goes...

Same thing as the above posts.  Some d-bags got my phone number from my internet provider.  I DL'd a porn vid torrent.  Now they are calling me and I'm assuming they want me to send them cash.  One thing for certain, I'm certainly not going to talk to some guy who has no proof of ID.

To continue my above post, anything that is legal would be sent in mail.  The more I read about these guys and their harassing tactics the more I'm convinced this is a type of shake down.

This guy keeps calling my phone number. His name is Lee. He keeps telling me I donwloaded some porn. Which I did not do I don't download stuff. He says I downloaded one movie. I set up a time for a lawyer on Monday. Is this something serious? I dont wanna go to jail. I dont wanna be charged tons of money either.
