If any of our companies ever needed the help of a collection agency we'd hire only the most reputable in the industry. NOT some bogus outfit in CA who deals with bargain-bin paper because that's all they can afford.

They harassed me to sign up with them with their no recovery no fee!!!!??? Bull [***]! Then they called me within the next day asking me to pay them more money than what my customer owes me! With a bunch of lies that my customer said about my business. I contacted my customer and said that he never talked or received a call from any one from this business and he didn’t even know who they are. This is clearly a SCAM company I contacted the Better Business Bureau and they advised me that they have received multiple inquiries about this business utilizing the same tactics to try to scam people for money. BEWARE THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIERS THEIR ADDRESS IS A UPS MAILING SERVICE AND THEY ARE NOT LICENSE TO DO BUSINESS ANYWHERE!!!!  CONTACT THE BBB AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU ADDITIONAL DETAILS ON THESE SCAMMERS!

I CONTACTED THE CALIFORNIA STATE BAR AND THEY TOLD ME THEY HAVE NO RECORDS OF THIS INDIVIDUAL BEING AN ATTORNEY!!!!

We have got calls form this company stating they are investigating our company are they licensed detectives/investigators, attorneys what are they?

I checked the name out too.  There's only one person with a name partially resembling his,  but he is NOT currently eligible to practice law. Also, there is nothing on this group  that I can find on BBB.

"Supervising Attorney Liaison"  Right.  It's a hogwash title.  Meant basically to imply he's somehow connected to a law firm. It's not unusual for the employees of some of these debt collection outfits to imply that they work for a "litigation firm" or that they are engaged in "pre-litigation".  Or that they are part of a  law firm.  In their outgoing calls they sometimes say  they are part of some sort of pre-legal group.

Rundown building in a run-down area of Ventura Blvd.  I know the area well.  I suspect that that  is their physical location. Either that, or they are working out of a house or apartment.

In any event if they call you about a debt,  always demand a debt validation letter be sent to you by US mail.  E-mail no good.

They are debt collectors.  So far as I know they aren't licensed at all. I believe they are located in the corporate limits of Los Angeles City and should have a business license.  In any event, this is a common technique of some debt collectors,  They cold-call someone and  imply that they are conducting an "investigation".  Of what, they don't really say.  It's all meant  to scare you. I'd ignore and block these kinds of calls.

Red Alert! Scam! Lies and Bad Faith!

I was contacted by this company. The representative Claimed to be able to collect my past due invoices upon a contingency that if they were not successful I would not pay a dime for their efforts. So I turned over an invoice to them in excess of 20k that I already had a judgment on the client. Within days the representative calls and claims that he did a skip trace and had located them in Texas and he also claimed that he had discovered that the client had over 140k in a savings account and he needed to have their attorneys to lock the assets of this client. However, now he needs me to send him a retainer of $6882.00 and needs it rushed; wired overnight in order to get his attorney working on it. Of course the no fee, unless we collect, does not pertain to the attorneys fees and there is a contract that says no refunds on your money. The century rep said this should take about 120 days for him to collect. I spoke with the rep many times throughout the course of over a year. And after they collected the money from me they surprisingly do return my calls and they give amazing excuses and they seem almost legit. Until you get the next representative and they give you a whole different story and they now claim my client has moved to ********** and has no ***** address and never was. Then you can tell yourself yep I have been scammed. There is a lot more to tell and I won't give out names. Due to the fact I did let the reps of Century Debt Solutions, Inc. know that I had been instructed by my attorney to file this complaint. The girl I spoke with begged me not to file this report due to it would cause her to lose her job and she is a single mom. It is not my desire to cause anyone to lose their job. I, however, have been lied to and scammed by this company. I want to caution and warn everyone, if you are having trouble collecting on invoices don't lose more money with these guys. they cold called me for about a year after having enough of their phone calls I let them go after the debt they  said they could get me the money said the guy had thousands upon thousands in two different accounts and if I sent them 1,500 it would  lock his bank account and he would have no access to his money until he paid them  they ended up collecting the money but not after they took me for the lawyer money and half the collected amount so I went farther into debt using them I was better off  just letting the debt go instead I spent another 375 dollars on top of the already bad debt save your time with them they lie ever step of the way BEWARE!!!!!!

I work for a roofing company and all the time we are getting telemarketer calls, debt collection calls wanting to offer there services to us and not once have i ever had a problem out of these people who call our business. But I received a call from Stella West a woman who works for this company.. she was by far the rudest woman I have ever spoke to over the phone. To give you some details.. I answered the phone she told me who she was and asked to speak to a lady who no longer works here. I didn't give out this personal information right away and just said she wasn't available could i help her. She then asked to speak to the owner which is out working and never here so I explained that to her and still asked if I could help her. She then told me who she worked for and why she was calling. I nicely told her we use someone locally and dont do business with anyone out of state. She rudely interrupted me and said, " No that is not what I asked for can you tell me when I could speak to ( the lady who no longer works here.) I said she no longer works here, she interrupted again and asked when the owner would be available. I tried explaining to her the owner is never available hes out working and I tried explaining again we use someone locally. She interrupted again and said, " No, no. We will let the owner and ( the person who no longer works here) decide." Baffled at how she was speaking to me, the phone call didn't end well. I am the manager of this company if anyone is going to decide its going to be me and the owner, and if your trying to earn someones business then this is definitely not how you talk to someone. Why in the world would I even consider using a debt collection agency who has rude, hateful people working for them. After that, I told the owner about this person and he gave them a call to see what exactly they were being so rude for, she was also rude to him. Even he tried to explain to her that we use someone locally, she also responded to him with, " No, that is not what I asked," and was hateful to him also. All in all I have blocked this number from ever calling us again. A review needed to be left for this horrible behavior. I would never ever use this business. This woman definitely needs to be reported, again her name is Stella West.

BEWARE OF DAVID LITTLETON!!! This company cold called me for about a year until I finally let them take my case for a 20% collecting fee the customer only owed 2,250 and the debt was 5 years old I told them I didn't want to spend any money chasing bad debt they said I wouldn't have to after I signed the papers I was contacted by an employee named DAVID LITTLETON who lied threw his teeth about everything scamming me out of money don't trust him. he told me the debtor had about 30,000 in two separate accounts and he would need about 1,500 dollars to hire an attorney to get me minimum of 5,500 which consist of debt owed, late fees and my lawyer fees  if we settled out of court or 8,000 if we went to court so thats what the agreement was after sending them the money and signing power of attorney to them to act on the agreed terms they ended up taking a settlement of the owed amount not the amount discussed they ended up with the 1,500 and than another 1,125 sent me a check for 1,125 so not only did I lose all my money owed but another 375 dollars I was better off taking a bath on the owed debt don't hire this company they have hidden fees like if they hire a lawyer which they instantly do it turns to 50% and do as they please BEWARE!!!!!
This company Lies,cheats and steals and told me that I was one client in thousands and I didn't matter to them
