as usual, man with Indian accent with an American  name (Joseph Matthews) threatening I will be arrested at my job unless I pay for an old payday loan right away,  total BS.  had the number blocked.  JERKS!!!!

This man name Keith Nelson left a message and told me I better call back or God help me.  WTF I said to my self. I called back and spoke to him he has the worst attitude for someone that is suppose to handle his companies business when I asked to speak to the supervisor or manager Mr. Nelson A.K.A Abu states heis the manager and told me to pay my F***ing bills B**** I can give my explaination to the police when I get arrested tomorrow morning.  Well ABU I been pasid this bill a long time ago and have my proof that's it's paid so now explain yourself to whom ever and God help YOU

This man calls and leaves a threatening message telling you to call him back. When you call he acts very unprofessional . He is a scammer taking your money and information. I pissed him off when I wouldnt give him any. I knew it was bs but there are people out there that believe this ...i called him back after he hung up on me and i told him I just filed charges with the local police department and i filed a complaint with the phone company ,  I told him to expect to see the police at his door and that he should get a real job and stop scamming people and stealing their money. What a loser ...

I have been getting this call for over a month. They keep telling me that I am the prime suspect in a case and they are going to arrest me. I told them to bring their happy little A** to my front door and get me then I was waiting for them with my 22 lol

i just received the same phone call as everyone else. he stated he needed my lawyers information so that he could fax them over an affidavit regarding the charges against me. i started giving him my lawyers info and he started screaming at me to have my lawyer call him directly then he hung up on me. i called him back and he again started to yell at me to have m lawyer call him. i know this is a scam because it just happened to me 3 weeks ago, different number but same indian accent. they had all my info including my whole social security number. i had to change my bank account. these people are ridiculous.

Same call same accent telling me I am going to be arrested at my work a few times a day over and over. I ask to see a legal document and gets real mad at me. He tells me that he is an officer of the court....

Just received same call I said I looked your number up online and see that this is a scam he hung up very quickly

This number has shown up multiple times on my caller id. Sometimes I answer and it disconnects. Today I answered and it's this man that speaks very poor English. He wants me to confirm personal information over the phone. He also stated there was a law suit against a family member and they would be arrested and picked up from his place of employment.

Does anyone have any idea how to stop this person from calling? He says he represents Sanders Legal Assoc.

I just had the same man that called me two weeks ago to call again.  I could barely understand him, and all he kept on saying was he needed my attorney's information. I started screaming at him before he could start with me.  I asked him for his information and he couldn't answer me.  I told him that I was recording him and he told me that I was going to be arrested.  I said, "well, do what you have to do!"  He then tried to out talk me and threaten me again. I ended the conversation with, "don't call my damn phone number AGAIN!!"

These guys keep calling people that I work with at sheetz and I know for a fact that it is a scam. I was told that they get peoples information through pay day loan. They scare you to pay money that you may or may not owe and keep it for themselves. Its always an Indian man and he usually says his name is David Cooper..I told him that he does not sound like a David Cooper! Anyways, I'm trying to figure out a pattern. Does anyone that received these calls work at Sheetz? Ever take out a pay day loan? Oh ya they usually say that they are calling from the Federal Bureau of Crime investigation whatever that is! They should be real careful...that's pretty close to FBI!

got a call at work that threatened that I would be arrested with in 24 to 72  hours the  sad thing is i never recieved any money from them they keep saying i got 10,000 dollars from them if i got that much money then where is it at . What a way to ruin my day.

This guy is a joke. He used the name Shawn. I called back and asked for Shawn and told him that I was calling in regards to the call from him for money that was supposedly deposited into my non-existant account. He hung up on me. He used the same line about the attorney,etc. I'm going to the local police tomorrow.

no i work at  kmart we are having the same issue. 3 of my co-workers and i have recieved these calls.

i have been getting the same phone calls for over a month, this guy saying he is jon parker and that he is a police officer. everyone needs to watch putting your information on the computer i tried to apply for a payday loan but did not get approved. he calls me all the time saying if i don't call him back i will go to jail it's been going on for over a month. Nothing has happened yet, i told him i knew it was a scam and i was going to report him and he hung up. He called again today saying if me or my attorney didn't return his call i would be in trouble. I didn't even call back. He is so rude and he calls from different numbers everytime he calls me.

I had a man and a lady call me saying that I will arrested friday well. I knew that I did nothing wrong. But the thought of someone stealing my identity crossed my mind. well now I know there is a good thing that this is posted so when they call again the will get a real blessing and not in a good way. It is sad that people have to do things to people this way it is hard enough out here. ugh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just had a call from this number saying i would be arrested..........goddamn i'm so tired of these fuckeheads

Yep, we just got 3 one at cell and other at home, threatning, saying may God help you.
It was a woman though, these guys must be here illegally and hard up for money
their phone is in California.  If it keeps up I will call our attorneys, and i will file a police report,
so they will get what they deserve!

I got a call from an Indian man with an exotic accent telling me I am a "prime suspect in a criminal matter".  I demanded a physical address in order to verify that he is calling from a legitimate law firm, and that he had crossed a line into illegal action (violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act).  I looked up the law firm address and contacted the California State Bar and was informed that there is someone overseas making these calls and using a California phone number and someone else's address, and that it's a scam.  They suggested reporting it to the Federal Trade Commission.

Just a note to anyone getting these calls--No private individual can threaten to put you in jail!  No lawyer can do so.  It is entirely up to your local community law enforcement, IF someone presses charges and has proof.  These CSO's may serve a purpose, but their collection agencies are bullies, boors, and scum-sucking bottom feeders.  

You can demand they send all communications about the alleged debt in writing.  It is better to get a copy of your credit report, make certain the information is accurate, and proactively contact them seeking to settle when you are in a position to do so.

NEVER give these folks your credit card or debit card information or a post-dated check by phone, no matter how official, persistent, or threatening they are.  Remember your telephone has a switchhook for a reason.  Hang up on these nasty cretins.

these people have called me all day and at first i actually thought they were real, thank god i didnt give them any information. i have reported them to the BBB and the federal trade commission. if any of u can call the federal trade commisson and report names and numbers they call u from we can get these people caught. they gave me the names Alan Smith and Bryan King.
