James - 19 Jun 2008I found out that Digitcom Services at http://www.digitcom.net/contact.asp owns the number. If call them they will give you this number 8004616675. You can leave a voice message to remove your number from their list and they would like you to leave the number reported on your caller id as well. I think we should flood their system.

Dave - 20 Jun 2008Vehicle warranty messaged played when I answered. My warranty ran out about a month ago on my Vehicle so they have access to some master dealership list is my guest. Or dealerships sell the customer list.

This was a very helpful blog. The car service warranty marketing calls have been unwanted and I appreciate your posts. Thank you.

Matt - 18 Jun 2008The automated message said my factory warranty was about to expire and to press 1 to talk to someone. I knew that wasn't accurate, but I pressed 1. That put me in some phone queue - asked me for my make and model of my car. I said "wait, what is this for? do you have the wrong person?" and they hung up on me. Googled the phone number and I got this page. What now? :(

ombra75 - 18 Jun 2008Same thing happen to me as Matt. I received this recorded message about extending my car warranty. I bought the car from a friend and have never had a warranty on it. They asked for the make, model and year of my car. I told them I didn't have a warranty, they said I didn't have to be the original owner of the warranty. I asked them how they got my number, if they were affiliated with Ford (I have a Focus) or maybe my insurance and they hung up on me. Googled the number and found this website.
