Called home phone, sounded like a prerecorded message to call REVENUE CANADA @ (819) 410-7781 asap, charged and being arrested for fraud.  I called the number from my work number, the person identified himself as CRA INVERSTIGATOR, I'm being arrested for fraud on my income tax return from 2009-2013.  I've frauded the gov't and benefited for $2,645.  Asked me not to interrupt him till he is finished with reading all the charges to me and and for about 10 min was scaring me with multiple criminal charges and offences.  When he was done, he said I can ask him a few questions,  I said this is the first I hear of this, my bookkeeper is doing my taxes, I've not been notified of this in writing and said I can't believe any of this, this cannot be true.  He said the police is on its way to arrest me within 45 minutes.  I said that's exactly what I want to do is call and speak with the police.  He said he warned me and I lost my last opportunity to make a credit card payment.  He has to hang up but he made me aware of the consequenses and the police will be arresting me in within 30 min. . .I am still waiting . ..

Received the call on our answering service as well .... total BS.   Don't waste your time listening to it/calling back.

Called home phone and left urgent threatening message to call or the lawyers will be involved. Did not call back after reading other peoples' experiences with this number.

I will report this number to the Police, CRA and Bell. Hopefully the peretrator will be caught and charged with attempted fraud.

Automated message threatening you owe money to CRA. No names used etc. obviously fake but annoying because they've called three times today.

There was an automated call this afternoon, when I came home my husband told me that I should listen to this caller, it sounded like a fraud, they way he spoke ( Listen who ever you are) we were not born yesterday.I am going to call the CRA tomorrow morning and give them your number and they will trace you where ever you are, you sick SOB.

Yes its me again, and yes he did mention that his name was officer John Barker or Parker, or what ever he was.

Same thing....! Got called twice today - such a bad accent English accent also.  He should at least use a French name to make it more credible.  What a waste of time

He called us twice today leaving us scary threatening messages, this person is clearly not from the CRA

same auto message call twice today when I am at work,   I am dealing with real CRA officer that do not use language like that.   RCA use 1-855 and 1-866 in Ontario not 1-855 from Quebec.

This guy left a message that he is Jack Copper from CRA. I called him and he said he is in Quebec. He had some accent. He said my husband owes $4000 to CRA and he will be arrested in 30 min. and asked me to tell my husband to call him in less than 5min.

He called himself Officer John parker from CRA  and left message very scary that sound like threatened. Local police is on the way my home to arrest my family  if i want to stop this I should speak with his  senior officer Jack cooper and follow his instruction and pay 2645$ directly. I couldn't listen to this any longer so I hung up. He called me back 5 -6 times and last call was from private caller and shouted  " You hung up? and we will arrest you now ! "  I was shocked so much
What kind of people they are?

A prerecorded phone 819-410-7781 called my home phone, said he was a CRA officer Jo Parker with a heavy southern Asian accent, and warned me that I had legal troubles with CRA, asked to contact with me or my lawyer to deal with an urgent matter. This is the second time in a year to receive such a call. I wonder when CRA starts using 819 numbers. I also wonder who in soutren Asia would name himself as a strange English name like Jo Parker. This sounds like a fraud.

Called home phone, left msg in answering machine around 5:54 said he was Officer John Parker and asked to contact him on No: 819-410-7781 with my lawyer to deal with an urgent matter or face the consequences. I had a doubt since he didn't say for whom the msg was so came here and I was right seems a hoax call. Now going to report my service provider.

The called me and said that my husband owed $6000 to the cra and would be arrested if he did not pay.  I asked the guy to tell me my husband social insurance number and he told me that a senior officer would call me back.  I called them back and told them that they where scammers and that they Would be arrested, they hung up on me.  When I called back my number has been blocked.  They are going on people's phone numbers and nothing else so if they call you ask for personal details.

Got the same call from this number. Left me a voicemail that sounded like gibberish and said the law was waiting to deal with me. My parents got the exact same call about two months ago. Bunch of [***].

I got a call from 819-410-7781 saying that he was from rev. canada and that we need to call back urgently or he wishes us good luck, not knowing who this was i searched the number and found out that this man has tried to scam many people!

Clearly a scam. Called and left a message with the name of Officer Jon Barker/Parker and said he wanted myself or my attorney to return the call to discuss an important legal issue. This person also calls over and over with their number concealed and when you pick up, they say they are from the CRA and accuse you of fraud.
