Wierd number. Dont recongize.

This number recently called the business I work for asking to speak with my business manager. I was suspicious , so I asked him where his business was located. After a long pause, he said Ontario (my work is located in Canada,) however he could not tell me what street he was on within a reasonable time limit.

He also gave me a weird phone number to call him back at that wasn't in the usual format used by North America.

I received two calls back to back both men spoke with Indian accents one heaver then the other, they said I had recently applied for information on ongoing education when I told them not me. Insisted on continuing on giving me information finally I told them I have a degree, I work full time and am 2 years from retirement and that that my name was in the phonebook. These guys both times hung up called right back last time I told him if they didn't take my number off their list I would report them he still continued his pitch.

Today, I received 5 calls from this # so I tried to call it back.  Was prompted that I would be charged  a per minute rate to proceed so I hung up.  I knew it was spam.  They called back again and I finally answered.  Thick foreign accent, could hardly understand but thought I heard the word "education".  So I searched this # on google and found this blog.  Sure enough, they are pitching education.  Spam for sure.

Received several calls from this number and have ignored them all but they never leave a message.  Received three calls today from this number.

Just got home from work. Had 8 missed calls from this number as "NAME UNAVAILABLE." 1:19pm. 1:30pm. 2:3pm7. 2:45pm. 2:56pm. 5:39pm. 5:42pm. 6:27pm. Tried calling the number back and was told "We're sorry. Your call cannot be completed as dialed."

Just got a call from 824-502-9191.  They said that they were calling from Monitronics, an alarm monitoring company.  There have been a lot of burglaries in my neighborhood recently, so I got suspicious and googled this number, which brought me to this page.  Anyone else who got a call from this number been having burglaries in their area?

Just got a phone call from this number too.  I did not answer it and they didn't leave a message.  Thought I would check out this website to see if anyone else got calls from this number.  Thanks!

Received a call from 824-502-9191 advertising lower car payments and wanted to know if I was interested.

I've gotten 6 calls in 5 hours from this number today. They've been calling for the last two days. I usually don't answer if I don't know the number, but after the 4th call back to back and no message on the machine, I answered just to get them to STOP calling. When I answered no one was there.

I have gotten one or two calls per day on my cell phone from this number for five days in a row, so far.  They never leave a message. I am not going to answer since it charges against my minutes.  For junk spam!

I have got two calls 30 mints apart. I also looked up the area code 824 and it looks like there is no such area code.

This number calls me all the time 824-502-9191. Im not picking up, thanks to this website. Screw spammers!

Spoke to person. I can't understand what the person on the other line is saying.

I got a call from this number at 6:15 am! The lady spoke with a very thick Indian accent, couldn't understand her. I think I heard the word "education" in there somewhere. I asked her to repeat herself and I still couldn't understand what she said. Then I asked her if she realised it was 6:15 am and she could get in a lot of trouble for calling me that early. She hung up without another word. Going to my cell phone account and blocking this number. Freakin' spammers!

I also recieved the same message, I dont have a car loan I said to them. Then they said we need your visa number! I said no take me off your calling list.  Really strong accent(chinese) I think.

Have had a couple of calls from this number today that I missed answering because the phone was buried in my purse. I look up unknown callers online before answering or wasting minutes trying to call them back. I put my friends/relatives/callers I know on my phone contact list so their names show up when they call. Then I can answer and/or call back if I can't find the phone fast enough.
The rest I reject and/or don't answer --ever. I also have a "block" feature on my cell phone for about 10 numbers. I add the annoying calls to that and after awhile I don't get the calls anymore.

I'm located on the west coast and this number (824) 502-9191 "Name Not Found" called me at
5:45 a.m.  I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, but 5:45 a.m. is really pushing it in my book!  They left no message.  There should be specific regulations governing these types of calls! There seems to be regulations for everything else in this world!

I call back and got free tone.Do not respond eventually they will asume is a no working number. if you reply they confirm your phone is good. I called back from MajiJack phone. Do not give info about streets or any info for that matter you can become a victim.

Stupid foreign idiots trying to "lower my car payment". They are scammers and I told them that. The "supervisor" called me back asking why I thought they were scammers, and I told him to [***] off. :)
