sick of this fool calling begging for money for cops. I do not live in
boone or asheville, why call me? I asked him to stop calling so now he calls 6 times a day instead of one, I HATE HIM AND HAVE NEVER MET HIM

Some dude keeps calling from Boone asking for my son by name and leaving messages all the flip pin' time. "Hello. Is -- there? Hello?" Who the heck are ya?

Didn't pick up. They didn't leave a message.

They keep calling her and we don't answer, he says "Is Michael there, hello, are you there?  Never leaves any other message.  We are on the no call list but he continues to call.  What good is the Do Not Call List????

It only keeps the honest company's honest. It doesn't stop criminals from calling you! Criminals don't obey laws simply said. However, Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC,however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can
google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

A little advice!  DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE OR ALLOW YOUR MACHINE TO PICK UP!  I can't say this loud enough.  Every time you answer the phone or your machine picks up, you are telling these scammers they have reached a good working number.....and they will continue to call and call and call.........DO NOT ANSWER!

This same person,recognize voice has called several times in last few days. Asks if 'name' is there. Don't answer any phone #s I don,t know

phone number listed above, another scam call. I do not answer these calls, and do not know anyone in this area code. no message left, no name on caller id or company name. let these silly calls end, please !

Why not just make a donation to a worthy cause.   A couple of dollars is not going to hurt you.

So you can get your commission for the week? We all know that these so called charity calls are simply a cover for some call center to take up to 98 cents of every dollar and put it into their own pocket.

How do you know? Maybe a couple dollars is all the person has until pay day. Or perhaps people prefer to donate locally, so they know where their donation is going.
By the way, how much do you donate to every random caller claiming to be a charity?

Give to one, and they sell your name / address / phone number to dozens of others.   As executor of an Estate I still get phone calls two years after his death.  They looked up MY phone number on the internet using the address used for mail to settle his estate!!    Vultures!
