I also have a phone interview today for some sort of job, but I am unsure what the job actually is or what the company's name is. I am assuming it is probably for a marketing firm of some sort wanting me to walk or drive around and try to sell whatever product they are trying to push. I will find out tomorrow at 2:15 if it is legit or not.

Just wondering if your phone interview happened and what they were wanting you to do for them. I ma hoping whatever it is is worth it because I ma in a rut and need employment, but not bad enough to use my own vehicle and gas(which is ridiculously high) to drive around trying to sell something that may not sell and I may not make any money.

I received a call from this number by someone who said they got my name from the CareerBuilder website where I was looking for work.  The number belongs to the Stephen Davies Group in North Carolina.  Stephen Davies owns an insurance agency.  This seems to be his way of recruiting new agents.  He also will probably try to get you to join his organization NAA (National Agents Alliance), of which he lists himself as National Manager.  He has three recruiting managers, Ryan Krivulka, Kyle Rodman and Omar Smith. One of them will call you.  It seems to me they are only trying to get you to join their organization (NAA).  I don't know how much value it would have if you were an agent.  Here is their website and you can judge for yourself:

Well I got a call too and figured it was not a "real" job.  Hey my wife and I have home based businesses to supplement my 9-5 job.  I told the guy I was not interested and when asked why, he started asking me about what I am doing.  LOL

I received a call the other day when I was in work and this guy named Dillian left a message about my resume and CareerBuilder and that his boss saw my resume on CB and wanted to know if I am still looking for a job. I called the number back on Wednesday, and Dillian said his boss wanted to set up a phone interview this morning (Thursday) at 9:30 AM. It's 9:43 AM and no call.
Now it is the NAA, I was recruited by them in 2008 with the promise of A++ leads. When I allowed them to register me and sell their products and that they could cover anybody with life insurance, however the premiums were too high for people living on a fixed income and their leads were not A++ they were more like F-. You have to be rich to sell insurance because it's straight commission and if you get a policy once in a while you still can't pay the bills, that is why you need to have money.

And I just got the call from Kyle Rodman, he said it's commission only.

Got a call today also, sounded shady to me and didn't give out any information other then my credit being good. He wanted to set up a phone interview but after reading these comments I called back- got the guy's (Dillan) voicemail and told him to cancel the interview. Now I'm nervous but I don't think he can steal any private information from the whole 4 questions he asked....

I have just received a call too from this number 828-585-6758. They left a message saying they found my resume on Career Builders and ask if I was still seeking a job. Figured I would look up the number and see if they were for real or a scam. Sounds like, from everything I read here, they someone to stay away from.

I got a call today from these guys. The person leaving the voice mail sounded as if he had trouble with having full command of the English language. Yes, he sounded shady - criminal. "Hey, I got these watches for sail" type sounding person. They say their HR manager got the resume off CB. This needs to be reported to CB because they are using CB to silicate their national group and it is commission only at your expense. Not a job! What they are doing is trying to exploit the desperate and down people that are hoping for anything. Report them to CB - The Company and the recruiter. If I am to be contacted about a job it is to be legit and not some "you could earn up to 10 million" on commission only. It is so sad that so many are trying to make a living off of swindling others.

I got the call too.  I have had a bunch of insurance companies contact me since my resume went up on Careerbuilder.  A guy who identified himself as Dillan said they wanted to setup an interview for sales and sales management positions.  I told him I wasn't interested as I was looking for a different type of job and that was the end of the conversation.
