A Rickey Clarke from Cyber Crime Investigation of Texas State. This is a legal complaint against my name and social security number. I returned the called back to this number in search of Officers Rickey Clarke but was address by Officer John Etpinson concerning this matter that I should pay $627 by a Money Gram to them and once I get the information then he would tell me the rest. I reported this information to Meridian Police Department at the front desk and I was informed that this was a Scam and to check all my bank accounts and credit cards and report back to the Police Department if anything goes wrong with my items.

I got a text message from this number saying the same thing and to call them right away

I got the same message.  I reported the number as spam.

They sent me the same text. I sent one back saying it was a scam. They replied saying F&@/ (used the word) you mother F Ed I will arrest you idiot within 30 minutes and then listed my SSN

i got the same text. text back and told them i reported them to my local sherriff and was filing identity theft since they claimed to have all my personal info....havent heard back from him

Just got the same text [***] low lives trying to get free money

Same message as all here, mine was a text, WHO in their right mind would fall for a text message from a generic Officer Name from Texas telling me to either call back on this # or I will be arrested in 2 days by my local sheriff's dept. I have received many phone calls similar to this one over several months but a text tops them all in the scheme of being just hilarious!!! Whatever Officer Rickey Clarke, you are a joke!!!!

Caller had all my info. Said they were frim Cyber Crime Investugation and would not guve me name if who they represented calked back and tokd them I was goibg to my Sheriff deot they called me a dumb ass then told me to fu... Self and I hung up.

I got the same text from 830-265-5476 from an Officer Michael Payne to call 830-522-5390.  Deleted and blocked on my phone.

Text from Rickey Clarke, cyber crime investigation dept.   Regarding  a complaint against me and if I  don't call back in 2 says they will contact my local sheriff and issue an arrest warrant on me.  I  never called back, because this is a scam.

Cyber Crime Investigation Scam or “Ricky Clarke” strikes again!
Calls threatening arrests. Sends absurd text messages .     Claims to be with the “Cyber Crimes something-or-another” of either New York or Texas.  Some have reported an overseas accent on some of the calls.  Others have reported an Australian sort of accent.  Basically a straight-out extortion ring. Ignore and block any calls received from this number or the parties listed below.
