No one answers when I pick up. Caller ID says Dir Asst, Tx. I tried to call the number back and get recording that the call can not be completed and to check the number dialed. Got same response on second try.

Got the call from this number, as well as 2 others, and when I call them back, an automated voice says that the number has been changed..

Same as above messages.  Two calls from the number.  When I called back voice said "call at a later time."

this number keeps calling if you answer no one answers back, if you don't answer they don't leave a message... getting way sick of them calling and interrupting my day for nothing..

Call was from "Jennifer" at Dir Asst TX saying she worked for "my computer company" and she had sent me 2 alerts, that I had not responded to, alerting me to "someone on my computer downloading dangerous material."  She became almost frantic when I asked "what business my computer was to her."  She was trying to sell me some kind of computer protection that was "more than what my computer company offers normally."

This is a scam. They are trying to convince you to execute a series of commands on your computer that will give them control.  

You should buy a whistle, and then when they speak, blow the whistle as loud as you can in the mouthpiece of the phone.

Just got the same message March 7, 2015. Total scam. Fun to talk to, though. Really mess with them.
BTW: She said her name was Sarah ( Pronouned Shir-ra) And she was very adamant that this was not a scam.

They called and I knew I hadn't had my PC there for months and they said someone was downloading malicious software a week ago so I went off on him and I said your a price of crap trying to scam people like that lol so I called back and it would go through

I am getting so many of these calls from various Dir Assist numbers, isn't there anything that can be done. I am going to have to cancel the phone number I have had for 38 years to eliminate them I guess.

Get these calls all the time. This time I blew an Air Horn in his ear.

got the same call today saying they were issuing some sort of judgment on our income tax fraud--no way phony call.

I have been receiving phone calls from this number almost everyday, I finally decided to answer the phone some gentleman from India was telling me for 2 to 3 weeks I have been having problems, errors, on my computer, I told him no I haven't and he seemed to keep saying yes , I told him no I haven't and I hung up on him. These companies must think we are stupid.  Scam artist that is for sure.
