It's a fake "tax collector" calling named "Jason" with a thick middle eastern accent. I reported this number to the tigta.gov website. I called the number back and "Jason" answered and I started laughing at him and I said "you are a IRS officer huh?!" And he hung up.

Got a call from this number and he said he was with the IRS and that there was a warrant out for my arrest on my federal taxes. Thick middle eastern accent he hung up when he tried to transfer me.

This scammer's method is to threaten arrest and legal fees, acting as if you have been caught trying to avoid paying a portion of your taxes. He tries to confuse you and keep you on the phone so you can get his money to him immediately by way of government bonds, (the IRS can't take credit cards at this time). For every response you give him over the phone to his accusations and threats, he has a comeback that includes another threat, no matter how ludicrous. Hang up. Don't let him waste your time or raise your blood pressure. He will follow up your hang up with a bogus 911 call and then another call from an 845 450-2985 with the same threats and wishing you luck if you don't respond. Amazingly enough, I was never arrested.

I have received two calls this morning from this number, two hours apart. Same message when I answer about tax fraud. Same person as the others complained about "Jason" with a very heavy accent. How do these people get our number? I have blocked the number.

I received multiple voice mails form this number 830-914-6898, The person claimed to be an IRS agent and that me or my  retained attorney should contact him. And if I didn't he says he wishes me luck....  

Got the same exact call as ain't got time for this. He cantalk to my tax constant. I don't  have time or patients  for this.

Just received a call from "Officer Jason Clark" along with a voice mail asking that I call him back immediately.  Googled the phone number... found out that I was not the first nor likely will I be the last.   Not even going to bother calling him back.  I do not have the time or energy to deal with these type of people.

Guy calling claiming he is from the IRS and that I committed tax fraud. Not sure he even knows who the IRS is.

Received a call from this number and let it go to voicemail.  Message left said "To verificant I need you or your retained attorney of record to return the call.  The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive.  My name is officer Jason Clark and hotline to my ... is 830-914-6898.  I repeat for you, it's 830-914-6898.  Don't disregard this message and do return the call.  Now, if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either, then the only thing I can do is wish you a good luck as the situation unfolds on you.  Again, this message is for you and my name is Officer Jason Clark and hotline to my ... is 830-914-6898.  Give me a call back as soon as possible and get information about the case.  Thank you and have a great day."
Caller had a very thick accent.  He did not use my name or tell me what company or office he worked for.  Blocking this number.

This is a scam number for I don't owe taxes and make quarterly payments.  So if you get a call from this person, do not hesitate to report it.  I reported it to tigta.gov.

This guy "Officer Jason Clark" called my wife's cell phone two times and left a threatening message that she was in big trouble and that she better call him back. He has a foreign accent. She blocked the number so he used a different number (775-410-9097) to call back the next day and leave another similar message. What kind of life do you think this guy has?
