This number just called my cell phone. I didn't answer it, & they didn't leave a message, but the caller ID did say "Monterey Peninsula Area".

I got this call too, while I was napping since I didn't sleep well last night. No idea who it is, so I didn't answer. The caller didn't leave a message.

Robo caller to verify my Google listing.  Stupidest thing I ever did was get a gmail account.  These Google robos now call every 15 minutes 7 days a week during acceptable calling hours.

Don't blame Google - it's some liar implying that they are from or can help you with anything google.

It's a shame the NSA's data collection can't be used to stop this kind of B.S.

Hung up as soon as I answered. Tried to call the number back and got that it is invalid number.

Verify Google Listing. I just received a call from these idiots from 803.820.0913. It is ILLEGAL to call using ROBOCALL. We are on the National DNC List and any time we get a call like this, we report it to the FTC.

Called and said they were google.  Idiots hung up in the middle of their own sales routine.

Called one of our cell phones.  No message.  But, have been getting a lot of "google verification" scam call lately.

Saw this number, hit "ignore", it went to voice mail, they left a VM but as a hang-up (silence).

These "google verification" scammers are RELENTLESS.  A different number every day, 3 calls a day, from area codes all over the country.  My t-mobile is a pay as you go and offers no way to block calls.  Before I could save the number (giving it a name like Ignore or Scammer4) but at this point the numbers just change constantly, and it's a time sink saving them.  It's really disruptive & if I check my voice mail I've wasted money.  I also used to think "if it's real, they'll leave a voice mail" but most of the robocallers now either leave a recorded message or else empty silence on the voice mail - either way, I have to check just in case it was a real business call, and that's more pay as you go money wasted, not to mention more of my time wasted.  It's driving me to distraction.

You'd think if the good ol' USA can keep records on every freakin' phone call in the country they could find a way to catch these criminals and stop the waste in productivity these creeps bring to every small business in America.  Thanks for nothing, NSA, FCC, Do Not Call Registry, et al...

I've got this call a few times before then they stop.  Now they've started back up and just yesterday got one from 619.378.8091.  I'm thinking about blocking them now, but today I chose option 7 to be taken off the list.  We'll see if it's legit.

You do realize that this is almost definitely NOT Google themselves calling.
And even if it was, Google Ads / search results would have no relationship to your Gmail account.
