This is the message left on my phone, it's obviously a scam.
Hi, My name is David gray, and this message is intended to contact you regarding an enforcement action executed by the United States treasury intending you're serious attention ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand Jury for a federal criminal offense my number is 831-316-9795 I repeat It's 831-316-9795 I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you.

Got the same message as above, guess it's a debt collector trying to get us to answer, however I do still owe back taxes I'm trying to get paid, so it's got me a little worried.

We had the same message on my mother's line who has been in a dementia facility doing nothing wrong for 4 years.

Same message from David Gray ...taxes ok so I think it is a scam.

Just got the exact same script as ScamStriker a few minutes ago.

I got the same message as below;  it is not the Treasury Dept, a debt collector, nor IRS.  It is a scam.

Exact same message as ScamStriker - I am intentionally ignoring an enforcement action... blah blah blah.. David Gray you are a fraud and should be the target of a federal enforcement action.

The IRS does not make contact by phone. Do not give these scammers any personal info, block their calls!

Exact same message left on our voice mail as ScamStriker posted.   Local news recently had a warning from the OH Attorney General warning about this scam.   As noted in other messages, the IRS does not contact you via phone.   Blocked now.

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.   Block and ignore.   DO NOT RETURN THE CALL!

I’m an Enrolled Agent with the IRS (Inactive). IRS does not initiate contacts by phone.  US mail only.   IRS does not file lawsuits.   Court action, if any is handled by the DOJ and all parties are entitled to legal assistance if it is a criminal matter.  But--tax disputes are for the most part civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS does not threaten to involve local law enforcement or to arrest you for nonpayment of federal taxes.  IRS has no powers of arrest.    If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job.  IRS does not cold call anyone and demand immediate payment of  money.  IRS does not ask for financial information over the phone.   IRS does not accept Green card money paks for payment in any case.  No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments.  Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but  usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement.    All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

Another lame attempt to scam people out of money.  I received the same message.

Just got the call too, I ignored it

Have received numerous calls including today.   I called back & asked for his information.  His name is Brian Spector, Legal Officer for the US Treasury Dept, badge #117087.  When I pressed him for further information he hung up.
Waiting to talk to our local police.

I suggest we terrorize this as hole with threatening phone calls

Now have received the same message from David Gray. Why hasn't this scam been shut down?!

So I get a message from David Grey with the US Treasury Office asking me to call him, so I did. I love messing with these amateurs, I just lead them on and ask a lot of questions until they get all frustrated and hang up. Time is money to them and I just have fun while I'm driving!

We also received the same call from Grey.  Is there anyone  we can report him to?

I received 2 voicemails yesterday and talked to the man, David Gregg, this morning.   I have no tax issues and no knowledge of the documents he says were mailed to me.  He threatened to have me arrested.  I agree - he needs to be stopped.
