txt message says it is SunTrust Bank .. I do not bank with them so I believe it to be a scam ...

Please dont give any info. this is a scam!!   The bank never ask for info and never text you.
If you gave any info please go to your bank or what ever you have to do right now.

Got a  similar text with the same number, 831 531 3134, but says Bank of America.  I don't bank with them and know it's a scam.

I got a txt from this # saying Bank of America urgent MSG please call.  This is def a scam I don't bank with them

I got the same text that Debbie and Buc reported.  I do bank with Bank of America, so I called and the recording said there was a security issue with my "debit" card.  I don't have a debit card with them.  The message then asked for my SS# to reactivate my card, I hung up.  Definitely a scam, do not respond.

Received the above text message from 8047250 telepacific.net had a frowny face w the text as well. Didn't call. Momma didn't raise no fool. Scam

Scam... Report to local police department

Just received the same message, says its from BofA, bad typing, spelling, etc. Definitely a scam.

I just got the same txt saying it was BofA and urgent with this # (831)531-3143. I've gotten the txt more than once. Scam. Ignore!

Got the same message to call bank of America. Glad I checked the reverse number.

When I called, they said there was a security problem with my debit card. They wanted SS number to reactivate it.  Scam.  I hung up.  Don't give out any information if you get this text.  Inform yr bank or police department.

Received text message from 7734525@verizon.net said (BankOfAmerica-UrgentMessage.PleaseCall: (831)531-3143) when you call it's states there is a security problem with your debit card to reactivate it enter your Social Security number and card number. I kept pressing O for operator and no live operator came to the line. I also kept saying customer service and no one came to the line. This is definitely a scam because I do not have a debit card with them.

Received text @ 10:08am 9/16/2014 saying (Sun Trust-UrgentMessage.PleaseCall:(831)531-3143) ...... And I do not have any accounts at Suntrust so I am certain it was a scam attempt and I vote we all try and figure out what the common denominator is between the all of us to try and expose the source of the Scam and document it and call out whoever these [***] are! The only thinks about myself and my habits that might be relevant are......... I live in Chesterfield, VA area/ I own and run a business off of my phone that I received the text message on / I did use my bank card at home depot / and I am not one of those people that fills out information cards for any free cruises or anything like that where it is Blatant that you are selling your personal information in exchange for some PipeDream that isnt gonna come true! And I doubt that whoever is trying to scam us didnt pull all of our phone numbers out of thin air! So who is down to collaborate together and see if we can figure it all out?
