@ 10:47 am Pacific Time I received an extremely threatening Automated Call claiming to be IRS stating they have initiated a law suit against me and to call them back at this number. It appears they are targeting the elderly in hopes of confusing them into calling back. Hope the IRS follows up on this predatory SCAM!

This number called my home and also my fathers home -- I am sick and tired of these calls -- how do I get them to stop?

My husband just received a call a few minutes ago.  Claiming to be IRS and lawsuit initiated against him.  He was to call 832-251-7344.   Exactly what other posts are saying.  Appears to be a scam to us.  If the IRS were to contact us, I would think they would call our landline.

Forgot to add in my comment above that this call went to my husband's cell phone.

Got a call on my landline saying it was the IRS bringing a lawsuit and to call this number. I read these comments and called the number back just to see what they said, but no one answered. I tried twice and both times the phone went to a busy signal after a few rings.

Threatening message about impending lawsuit by someone claiming to be IRS. Wouldn't the govt notify by mail? Isn't that how all legal proceedings happen,....in writing. This has got to be a scam.

Got the same  call. IRS is filling a lawsuit. Bring it on I have nothing to do for a while. I had someone try and get my tax return last year. You just got to love paying taxes. Bet it you call they will tell you to send a check to avoid a law suit.

just got a call from 832-251-7344, they said they were the IRs, I talked to daniel, he had an indian(from india) accent.  they said they have a lawsuit against me for oweing back taxes.   I questioned them about why I didnt get anything in the mail, they said they sent something two times, but thats a lie....I know my mailman personally, and If i had cert mail, he would have left a note to pick it up at the po.   plus I told them to fax me something saying i owe money.  they switched me to another person, and they also were speaking w/an India accent.  I googled the phone number and it says its from houston....but when I asked where they were calling from, they said Washington DC . They said a sheriff will come to my house to arrest me....funny thing is I work w/the courts and I know that isnt the procedure when your being sued!    Now when I googled the phone number all your replies popped up, so its a SCAM.   im gonna call the IRS tomorrow and report them....the caller ID says, OUT OF STATE

Got call on land line----tried back on cell---no answer----got to be a scam

Had an automated message on my land line from this same number......automated message stated that the irs had a lawsuit against me.....SCAM

Received a call from this same number on land line this afternoon.  Message stated IRS had a lawsuit against me and to call this number.  When number is called now it states it is no longer a working number.

Got an automated call on my land line from this # today 832 251 7344 saying the IRS is suing me. THIS IS A SCAM!! The IRS does not contact by phone

just received a call from this number, person using the name Agent Nash Brown, badge # 50786.  very threatening, claiming to be from IRS and saying arrest warrant has been issued for me for amount of 3817.41 owes for 2008 taxes....  as I googled the phone number I called and see this indicating scam and told him that - he got ugly and then hung up on me.

Got the same call.  Ignored it.  If the IRS has an issue with filed or unfiled taxes, you will receive a written notice by mail.  Since all of my confidential information was hijinxed from another source,  I assume they were trying to get more info.  Stupid Them.  Smart me (and everyone else who posted).

Automated call claiming to be the IRS, with a lawsuit pending against me, like every comment on here. Obviously a scam, If the IRS wanted your money they would reach into your bank and help themselves, if they wanted blood they'd send the US Marshall's with a warrant...
