Left a message that the IRS was suing me and that I needed to call them. Like I m going to do that. Our taxes are paid and no letters from the IRS.....

Was called early this morning- recorded voice said it was the IRS and I was being sued- last chance to respond was call back this number.

They called and woke me from a sound sleep,  with a recording, stating that it was the IRS, and they'd been trying to reach me. They followed, stating that the IRS is filling a lawsuit against me, and that this was my final notice. I called the number back, to see if I could reach a live person, to investigate. When I reached someone,  they had a very heavy accent - and were difficult to understand. They sounded very unprofessional,  and there was a loud, call- center type noise in the background! Outrageous!

Q: why would the IRS use a Cell Phone? I have been audited and they send a letter not call you.

Got the same call and when I called right back it was the same as the description above....very heavy accent and very loud room. I called him out and he hung up! My mom called and called and called! He finally answered and said a bunch of BS and when she called him out on it he was saying some very nasty unprofessional stuff to her about what he was going to do to her and my grandma. This person needs to be dealt with in the worst way possible!

Message on answering machine. IRS  is suing me. Punched in this number on web. Lead me to this site. Oviously a scam. Don't call them. Don't give out any of your private info.

Received a recorded message stating I was being sued by the IRS on my voicemail. The call was before 8 AM local, and suspected a scam/fraud. Tried calling back later in the morning and the call could not be completed. (Taxes are paid up, and have not received any mail to the effect of being sued.
