probably a bill collector in houston tx says he is a process server and wants to talk to you to settle the matter and also say someone will call to verify your address at home or job so they can tell you when to appear.  TEXAS is a debtors state and they cannot do that so i don't know why they try.  they can't touch you in texas so i guess they try the scare method.  i checked and there is nothing in my county or dallas pending on me.  besides i dont live in dallas county so they are not very smart

I got a call from this number. I didn't talk to them but they left a message. Said its about a matter in lawrence county "that I don't think you're aware of" . I lived in Lawrence county a few years ago but I have no clue what they are talking about. What is a process server? Any help you can give me on figuring who these people are would be great. I don't want to call them back before I know who they are. Thanks

I received a phone call from a Mr. Peterson indicating that he recieved a complaint against me, and by researching my social security number and other information, he wanted to get a statement from me.  If this company is based out of Texas, I've never had any business conducted out there.  Does anyone know if this is a payday loan company?  I am not callling them, because I have no idea who they are and if there is a company involved, I'd like to know that information before I return a call.

They cld me concerning check n go they are debt collectors and they are breaking fdcpa violations keep any messages the leave record every contact u have with them and u will have a nice little case on ur hands against them

I don't know who these people but they are desperate.

** New info I just found on these guys, these are the correct Florida #s and not the Texas #s they have been using.

There is a way to collect debt. Pretending to be a process server is illegal. A process server will knock on your door to serve you, not call you. The clerk of courts is not going to "warn" you of a lawsuit filed. If you borrowed money from a payday loan company online, these companies will and have a right to call to collect. But they must identify that they are bill collectors, not processors.

To handle this, YOU MUST RECORD THE CONVERSATION. that is the only way this will work. Record the "processor" go thru is entire pitch. Aask questions like what will happen if you didnt do ask they are asking. What can happen if you dont pay. Stay calm and let the "processor" dig themselves a hole.

You will then send a copy of that recording to FPPSG at the addresses above. Advise they hve 10 days to pay off the debt thy state you allegedly owe and forward you a letter stating this has been PAID IN FULL AND CLOSED. If within 20 days you do not receive a response, forward that same recording with  a looooong letter to the Attorney General, The Better Business Bureau and the office of professional Responsibility. Lt he government due the work for you. As soon as the feds hear tat this group is affiliated with Buffalo, NY collections, they will be shut down in a matter of months...just ask Andrew Cuomo

The owner of FPPSG, LLC, Shawntina Jones, has two current pending foreclosures on her home. One was filed by the lender and the other by the Stoneybrook Hills HOA where she lives for not paying HOA dues in over three-years. Don't believe me, just go to the Orange County Clerk of Courts website http://www.myorangeclerk.com/ and do a search for her name.

Ironic, isn't it? I wonder if she has FPPSG place calls to herself, LOL!

i keep getting texts from this number asking me to call it. saying there is something wrong with my bank account and to call that number and then i have also been getting similar texts asking me to call 714-661-5543. I have no debt issues and my account is fine. how do i make them stop texting me?

Its a scam, just try to block the number.

FPPSG LLC.  aka (Fortune Portfolio and Processor Service Group) is actually who is calling about these payday loans.  Their phone# is 832-384-9152, They tend to change their phone numbers so be careful.  The company acts like "Processors" but they are collectors.  National Credit Works is out of New York and owns the debt FPPSG LLC is collecting.  This is completely illegal and unethical.  They call the debtor trying to state they received a complaint to process, and they will deny being a collection agency.  Believe it or not they are registered with the ACA (the association of credit and collection professionals) as a reputable collection agency. The craziest part about the whole thing is that I called my local FBI office and they already have an investigation going. That is all they would tell me but it's crazy that they know who these people are, and they are still in business.

This is who is actually calling, They will state they are "National" and work directly with the National Attorney Network.  This is a complete lie. There is no such thing. They will deny being anything else but "National".

FPPSG is affiliated with a Buffalo, N.Y. agency because that is where Shawntina Jones, the owner of FPPSG is from.  She is currently living at 5061 Rishley Run Way, Mount Dora, FL 32757. She owes major $$$$$$ to collection agencies, her house is in foreclosure, she doesn't pay HOA dues and her husband is in prison.

I see she took her Facebook page down. What a stupid b*@*%^. She had her whole life story on there for all her "debtors" to see.  And if you're viewing this page, darlin, tell your people to quit calling me and telling me a lawsuit is getting ready to be filed. We checked the caller id and it said NexVortex ( http://www.nexvortex.com/Services.aspx ),...  Its Skype for businesses..
