Received a call today. Robo call about home security and referred from neighbor . Really Texas , I'm in CA. Says it's not a sales call , really ??? These out of area calls seems to be the trend. Scam artists at its finest.

Picked up - nobody said anything. Caller ID: Rewards Member. Probably SCAM call.

The first words out of the robot's mouth is this is not a sales call. What a LIE. These people should be in JAIL, THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW calling us on the Do Not Call List. Next time, I will accept their offer, have them come on over, and what I do to them when they get here........ let's just say if the FCC and FTC can't seem to stop them, then consumers need to do so one at a time. I was interupted by this call waiting beeping while having an important conversation with my daughter. This IS ILLEGAL activity by scumbags how ignore the LAW. Really, we all need to start taking them up on their offers, make an appointment to meet with them. Identify them, and then TURN THEIR SORRY CRIMINAL BUTTS IN!!! A consumer trend of doing that might get some attention. The FCC and FCC sure can't seem to deal with it in an effective manner. Get them out in the open, identify them and FINE or JAIL there them.

Automated call claiming that I was referred by a friend to get an alarm system put in. Naturally I hung up.

THEY ARE TERROISTS AND RAPISTS OF YOUR EMOTIONAL STATE OF MIND WTH THE CONSTANT CONSTANT CONSTANT CONSTANT CALLING AND CALLING AND CALLING AT ALL HOURS. THEY MUST BE VERY MISERABLE PEOPLE GROWING UP IN THE GUTTER THAT THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY FROM. NO NORMAL PERSON WOULD DO THIS TO OTHERS.

Got this one today in Louisiana....  Since I moved into this particular phone exchange I have been bombarded.  It says... Member Rewards...  But no message left.  They called at 6 10  pm.  

I am sooooooooooooooo sick of these [***] calling me. As a disabled senior citizen, it disrupts my life greatly to have to answer the phone for some low-life scammer. They called from 832-389-2988, "Member Rewards."   Really? When is my "reward" about to arrive?  They give the option to opt out of their calls but if a do not call list does not deter the fools, how is pressing 1 going to change anything? STOP IT!!!!!

So sorry they got my fax machine instead of me.

Grrrr... we are on the do not call list too, but it's a useless feature. Does nothing. I can't count the unwanted calls I get every week.

If they've called you many times, like they have us, even after pressing 1 to be removed from their calling list, even after talking to someone to tell them to stop calling just to have them hang up on you!, try filing a complaint on do not call registry:

Maybe if enough people file, they can track down the company who is breaking the law.

Call from the number today... Same as others have previously mentioned / posted about receiving incoming call's from this number.  Picked up, said hello & no response.  It's simply an automated system calling number's.  Best guess...Incoming call's from the number with no response are attempt's / call's to see if the number's dialed are a live line's.  Incoming call's with automated sales pitches are the result in the end.  Aka...Telemarketing hard at work & annoying the hell out of everyone!!!  

I used to put in a Do Not Call complaint for every scam call I got (which was a lot!), but it seemed like the more I complained, the more calls I got!!  Maybe coincidence, but I gave up on the Do Not Call list.  I now have a phone company that lets me block all 800 numbers and 25 more non-800 numbers.  And yes, I just added 832-389-2988 to my list!

I received a call and followed the suggestion in one post and called it back.  I did get an automated message but it allowed me to press 1 and opt out of future calls.  Hope it works.  thought they had to give you this option in the message when they call.

Called 2/5/2014 at 2:51 PM.  Call disconnected after I answered the phone.

Called at 7:34 AM on the house and cell phone at the same time. Voice on the house phone not on the cell phone. Called about time share! Who the H--l calls at this hour? You are also right, the FCC can't handle the calls. Did you know they have to pay for the DO Not Call listing. Why would you? Ever since I put mu cell phone on this list I get calls I don't want.

They called 7 pm CST today and  left no message. My phone number is for PA. Why is a Texas company calling?
