please stop calling me I am disabled and have very little to help me .

Why do you think someone at this website is calling you?

They are trying to collect on a medical bill that is older than 4 years and was doubled billed in the first place

They are calling me about a bill. Since I currently owe a huge back tax sum due April 17th, I told them I wouldn't be able to discuss it until after that time.

I am assuming that they ran my credit, saw the balance in my tax account, and decided it was theirs.  That's one thing the self employed have to deal with -- you have a lot of money sitting around for quarterly tax payments, and the weasels at the collection agency think it's their, because anyone who can run a credit report knows your bank balnces and debts, but not your tax status, unless you have tax liens..  For the nonself-employed, that money vanishes on payday, never to be seen.

They are an ATTORNEY backed collection company. This means IF you talk to them, you can and will be summoned to court. In court they get all your info about your job, pay, monthly bills, spouse's income, and any and all assets. They then court order you to keep reporting to them all information. The judge works out a payment plan, and you have to do it or you breach the court order. If you do not keep making payments you breach the court order and can be arrested for contempt of court. My point is, do NOT talk to them at all  unless you intend to pay and be under their full control. If you don't talk to them, they can't be sure the phone number is right, and if you are the right person (nothing will happen to you till they reach you). DON'T talk to them at all.
