- DebraHave received numerous calls from this "unregistered" number on my cell. The 832 area code is for cell numbers in the Houston, TX area. When they call, it's usually twice in one day and back to back calls. No voice mail left. Don't know who it is, don't recognize the number and will not answer.

- JackIt's from a lowlife collection agency, dynamic recovery solutions. Just another scam company that buys uncollectable debts, for pennies on the dollar, and tries to collect. Just block their number. They also use 713 588-0965.

- jameeaThis company just called about a debit from 2006, i went on to tell her that stature of limitations to collect in TX is 4y and 6 months and not only will i not make any arraignments to pay but this was resolved in Ch 7 back in 2006. She also started running down my credit report then offered me a one time settlement. AS IF i was going to pay anything im not legally bound to pay for. PLEASE!

- Mark replies to Rebecca Arenstein| 1 replyYou can tell then you are giving them notice they are never to call you again. Then do that for your cell phone. The second time they call .. tell them they have been warned about the calls and then tell them the calls will go to the Attorney Generals Office. They cannot call you back if you specifically tell them you do not want to be bothered by them.
- the eye guy| 1 reply832 463 2957 is a collection agency and they collect second and third placement collections on very old debts that they can't legally pursue in Texas unless you re-affirm the debt. If it's past the status of limitations (2 years old from first date of deliquency you can't be sued in Texas. After 7 years from the first date of delinquency, they can't renew it on your credit report either unless however you make a single dollar of a payment or more, when you make an arrangement or pay anything, it renews the entire debt as if it is a new debt and you can then be pursued and sued for attachable assets in Texas (basically your house if not homesteaded or they can get any "commission" you make if paid on commission. Just tell them you can't pay the old debt and to not communicate with you again. Under public law 95-109 the must comply with that request. I am not an attorney, but I use to be a certified bill collector in Texas and know the law well for both FDCPA and FCRA. I was certified through the American Collectors Association. Good luck !

- Rachel replies to MarkUnfortunately just telling them over the phone will not work. By law you have to send in a written Cease and Desist letter. Send it certified so you know they received it. After you receive the receipt of delivery, if they call then you can file a complaint against and/or take them to court.
- KellieM replies to the eye guyTexas has a four-year statute of limitations on debts that works alongside the Texas Debt Collection Act. The limited time period means that debt collectors cannot sue individuals in an attempt to collect debts that are more than four years past due.
- K SearsThey called me today and said i have $9,000. debt from 2002. I did not know what they were talking about. She told me I had on chance to pay this off. She did not tell me what the debt was. I told her I was not paying anything without more information. She hung up.

- nunya beezwaxRude lady called me and wanted me to verify if I was so and so with last four of social xxxx. I responded by asking who they were collecting for. She said, "According to law, you have to answer my question first". I hung up on her.

- Brian VThe call started without about 1 minute of silence. I put it on speaker and left it there to see what would happen. Eventually a lady answered.
They asked for a foreign name like "Lank Sing". I said they had a wrong number. She didn't accept this and said "I know that Lank Sing may not actually live there any longer, but if you could just give them an important message for me, that'd be great." I told them I had never heard of that name before in my life, said bye, and hung up. She was trying to have a further conversation about it.
