This company is a debt collector. They called to my cell phone about an old debt. Told them to stop calling my number but that did not help. I do not answer their calls anymore.

This company calls me every day on my home phone. But I can’t answer because I am not at home. Every evening I look on my caller ID and it says that "PENTAGROUP FINA" called several times. They don’t leave messages on my caller ID. I don’t want to call back.

They keep repeatedly calling and hanging up. I did get a collection call from another company, but as that I had my identity stolen 3 years ago, the debts have never been mine. Unfortunately, since no one TALKS when they call, I can't get the name or information on the creditor so that I can dispute it.

The only way I know the 832-215-2100 is a collection ageny is because I looked it up on Google and found this site.

They kept on calling my home phone asking to verify last four of my social. These people are idots, they just want someone with same name and they will pin someone elses debt on you.

PENTAGroup has calle every body in the phone book with the same last name looking for an AMY, i tell them there is no amy here...they have also called my parents home, my aunts, uncles and cousins too!

Collector says I owe A Corp debt. Said it was on MY Credit report...Nasty dood, but I put him in his place!

I have been receiving calls from this number daily with no messages left. I am thankful for this website that shows it's something I should report.

Got a call today around 11am from Miss Watts.  She told me that there was a payment made to a dept of 40.00 in 2004.  I explained to her that there was no such payment and if so somebody else made this payment just to keep the dept on my husbands credit.  She in-turned got very nasty with me and told me that "HOLD UP I AM TRYING TO TELL YOU WHEN THE ACCT WAS OPENED IF YOU JUST LISTEN."  I told her she was very rude and told her this conversation was over and hung up the phone.  I check my caller id to return the call so that I may speak with a manager and I was put on hold for about 3min and was transferred to a Ray Fenly.  He too was nasty.  I told him exactly what was said and he just went off on me.  So I asked him for his boss and he told me VERY NASTY LIKE, "I AM THE BOSS."

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME.  I NEED TO KNOW HOW I CAN SUBMIT A COMPLAINT.

They call my # asking for someone that does not live here... one of my relatives.. I asked them to remove my # from the list and they tell me that the person that they are looking for needs to call in to update new info before they will take my # out...

What kind of crap is that.. these people are ridiculous

They called me today, and I told the agent to suck a big one and to stop calling me. She said, sir I will suck a big one after I get $50.00 for the dept. you owe. I gasped and said, What a prostitution comeback. [***]

Alexis Burton call looking for someone who had my last name.  She was rude.  The caller id number was 832-615-2100.  She gave also a toll free # 866-347-6123.  She represented herself as if she was a lawyer that can take action.  However she was nothing more than a low down dirty tatics bill collector.  The solution to stop these people from calling you is to go to Google and type in the search bar "Do not call letter for bill collectors". You get one of those letters and you send it certified from your post office.  The certified letter ensure they receive it.  The fair credit act protects you from being harras by bill collectors.  If they violate the law you can call or write the attorney general in either your state or better the state the bill collector is calling from.  If by any slim chance they contact you after receiving the letter. The do not call letter will stop them since by law you have requested not be contacted.  This is how you stop those unethical people.  Bill collectors must obey the law or face stiff penalties for harrasing people who do not wish to communicate with them.

They keep calling my cell phone and leaving me messages saying it is Wanda from the bank, please call me back ASAP.  I haven't called back because I know MY bank would identify themselves and their institution if it was something related to my account.

They keep calling my cell phone and my work. I have told them a ton of times not to call me and they continue. It is agianst FDCPA for them to continue to call me.

No, the FDCPA laws state that they have to verify the last 4 numbers so they can be sure it's you. If they discuss it and don't verify then they can get in trouble for a 3rd party breach. They can't do anything with the last 4 of your social, they need the info or they can't discuss the matter with you. Sometimes they might ask for your address to verify but by asking for the last 4 of your social they know for sure it is you.

If you give them a good phone number for your relative then by law they have to stop calling. Until then they can continue to call you looking for the person, it's called skip tracing.

I just received a call from this collection agenty, claiming it was a law firm.  I will be doing a complete investigation due to their hostility.

They keep calling my cell phone looking for a LORRAINE AGNELLO but obviously i am not that person but i have already received 4 calls from them, and each time i have told them that this is not the number they are looking for, but it has not helped the situation at all.  I'm seriously thinking of changing my number because this person must keep giving them my phone number or something. Extremely annoying.
