A missed call.

This is a collection agency. They called numerous times already, the last one today trying to reach the tenant, who has moved from here long ago.
She didn't give them this number too. I don't know, where did they get it from and why do they continue to call here. I have reported them numerous times on www.donotcall.gov, but it has so far very little effect on them! (my landline phone, they are calling to is on do not call list)

they called my cell phone which isnt even a contact number. They are a collection agency and they work with banks. The gentleman i talked to spoke very fast and i could not understand any of the information he was telling me other than someone was filing a complaint against me and have a nice day. He refused to provide me with any information regarding this matter. The only thing I could make out was that he was from Huston Tx.

I've had calls from this number - and have waited for them to "connect" me, but, then it disconnects.  I've not spoken with anyone yet - but, I pay all my bills so I can't imagine what they're calling about.

These [***] keep calling me from different numbers, but I keep blocking them with *60.  Soon, they'll have to use a phone booth to call me!

I am recenlty unemployed and already use a debt relief company, who has a POA for my debts.  I have on record that I lost my job, but these moronic debt collection agencies think they will get farther with me at home.  I don't think so.

keep calling from different numbers and when they leave a message they leave a number for you to call them back that was NOT the number that they called originally from (the number that shows up on your caller ID)

these jerks keep calling my work wont leave a message they are getting me in trouble at my work calling every 5 mins they need to leave a message concerning why they are calling dont have to be detailed message.

They guy acted like it was some time of emergency but would not tell me what it was about. He was very rude and unprofessional.

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever encountered. They called and were so very rude. They would not allow me to speak other than you need to pay x dollars. I stated this is not a legitimate bill and I have provided written correspondence to the store and the bank and a copy of the sales agreement, She hung up on me midsentence. I called back. The receptionist was RUDE and sent me back to the lady who once again was beyond rude and hung up a second time. I did not raise my voice nor did I say anything rude. So I called back and asked to speak a supervisor and of course they were indisposed. They will supposedly call me. Is there any recourse for filing a complaint in regards to their treatment?

I would get a hold of the Attorney Generals Office and report them

Listen people, how many times does it have to be said???  Do NOT give ANY info whatsoever to a strange VOICE on the phone!!

If you have a Legitimate bill they will MAIL you a letter!!  If they have your phone number, believe me they would have your address that goes with it!!!!   But you see, making a call is one thing, but sending a Fraudulent letter through the U.S. Mail, is a FELONY!!!   So you probably will NOT ever get the letter.

And even if you did by some most unlikely chance, look up ALL the information in the letter on the Internet.  See if it's a Legitimate company or not, see if the Address fits with the Co. name, and see if the Phone number fits.

If anyone ever calls you and they don't have your proper Name, Address, AND the Co. that you ORIGINALLY owed the bill to, and in what EXACT amount AND from what EXACT date, then they are SCAMMERS!!!!!!  All legitimate Co. will also have the Account #.

Then you could call the ORIGINAL Co. and talk to THEM about it.  But NEVER EVER, EVER talk to these SCAMMERS!!  NEVER Give them ANY info!!!!
