Guy calls and ask's if this is my number, then says he needs to transfer me to his attorney (both heavy Asian accent) as they are filing a lawsuit against me for non-payment to an Amex account (which is impossible) then tries to verify the last four digits of my account and home address. I replied with this is a scam and I have no issues with any Amex acct. referring them to my attorney and they became violent. When I reverse look-up this number it seems to be a Cell phone from Texas, be cautious of calls like this, my credit is perfect just had my report ran a few weeks back and I have zero issues with any CC's/banks/etc.

Same thing happened w me. He said capital one. Exact same to a T.  I'm from Canada & told him capital one Canada would take up any debts with me.... Then he tried lecturing me on "running from debt" I ripped him a new one. Lol. Then called cap one & they assured me it was a scam. So I called him back & told him it was an effing scam. He said "wait let me transfer to my attorney who is recording this call for the FBI"

I asked if he was ready & recording. He said yes.
So then I said "well, abdul, this is a mother &@$:(&; SCAM!!!"

He hung up... Lol.

Same thing happend to me June 27th and July 2nd.  June 27th they said i had a oustanding balance on my Visa (which is a debit card) and today they said i had a outsanding loan from Pay Day USA.  I told them to serve me papers at work tomorrow so i hope those fools show up!!!  Even know they wont.
