Very rude and mean. Looking for a person that does not own my phone. Man states I am interfering with a criminal investigation

continues to call - states they are CDR collections and a lawsuit will be placed tomorrow unless I call today.

Got a call today from this number, and the woman on the other end asked for my brother.  I promptly told her that he was deceased (he passed away just a few months ago), and asked her to identify herself.

She told me that she was with some collections company and then began to tell me in detail about a debt that she was trying to collect from my brother.  That's illegal move #1 - debt collectors should NEVER tell third parties the specifics of the debt.  Then she started grilling me on his date of death and demanded a death certificate, as if I was responsible!  Illegal move #2.  Third parties are in no way, shape, or form responsible for any settlement of debt.  It's up to the debt collectors to verify things like deaths.

I told her that I would not be sending her any death certificate, nor was I obligated to do so, and hung up the phone.  I could still here her shouting "Ma'am!" at me when I pressed end.  Just awful.  These people are slimy and she never showed one ounce of empathy when I said that he was deceased.  We'll see if they call back a third time, as that will be strike #3 - debt collectors are only allowed to contact third parties once.  I'll hire a consumer rights attorney then.

The male that called was very rude and keeps calling my work phone. He wanted my Payroll Dept. in order to collect what he claims I owe.  He is send emails on my phone.

Very rude jerk. Keeps calling a company phone for someone that does not work here.  They have called for the last 4 years and they won't stop.  Its everyday around the same time and I am so annoyed.
