Another robo call from a new number for the "Google Listing Scam"

All I got on voice mail was the end of the message.

Just received a call from this number on our business line.  Yep, its the Google Listing stuff.  Geez.  I have Callcentric service so I can block the number.....but they just switch to another number eventually now that more folks can do that.

Said free Google Listings and Push Service.  Went down to send me a Cashiers Check for $250 dollars for this Service.  When I checked the Address she gave to me to send the Check to, it turned out to be a private Address, not a Business.    Plus Google was not to be put on the Check , just her Name.  Right??????  Plus does Not Free mean Free, or has the word meaning changed.

Just received a call today about securing my Google Business Listing. She confirmed then transferred me to a very friendly man. But he was not nice, threatened to remove my listing from Google because he predicted before I could learn more about their services that I wouldn't sign up. He said I was defensive because I knew I was being cheated by other online advertising placements. He was so rude! He wouldn't' tell me the name of their business after I asked questions about his business compared to other Google subcontractors.

No message but I will block 843-207-9007 from South Carolina(North Charleston)

I love 800notes!!  got call from 843.207.9007 today. no message left.

Got the same call.  It said at the end to unscribed to press 9...so I did and then researched the number and found this list.  Hopefully I just didn't sign myself up for anything.  I called the number back and the recording said it was disconnected...

I always ask the company name, their address, phone number, website...ASK QUESTIONS and they'll hang up if they aren't for real.  If you call 843-207-9007 back, the recording says the number is disconnected.  Always amazes me that these scammers get anyone to sign up with them.

By the way, this is NOT GOOGLE - they are NOT affiliated with Google.  Ask if they are affiliated with Google and they'll talk in circles; ask again and tell them to answer yes or no if they are affiliated with Google.  Any hesitation indicates they aren't.

Also NEVER use their "removal" services.  Your number will get sold to other scammers that use the list.  The FCC is mostly useless against these companies so individuals and companies have to be informed that these scams are all the same - they continually change their phone numbers.  By now, companies should be onto them if there is anyone reasonably intelligent answering the phones.
