I got a call from this number.  I did not answer.   No message was left on the answering machine.  Caller ID gave this number. When I called it back I got a recording saying it was some Firefighter organization.

I just got a call from a male caller. He was very elusive when I asked who he was and what he was calling about. He wanted to talk to the owner of the company, or get the name so he could ask for the owner when he called back. He eventually said he was from something like "community welfare group". I could hear noise in the background, as if there were other "callers" in the room. I've made note of the number, so I'm prepared for the next time they call!

I too just got a call from this number. I am also in the Seattle area. I did not answer back. They left a 1 second message on my phone but nothing was said (obviously). What is the Community Welfare Group?

I keep getting phone calls from this number every single day!!  They Never leave a message just hang up when they get the answering machine.... It's ridiculous at how dedicated they are to continuously calling every single day. They must be wanting donations or something!!

My caller ID also states Mike Parrotta...

I just got the same call. Left no message. I live in SC and I have the area code 843, so I thouht it might have been someones cell.

Oh, forgot. It is also the last four digits of my cell.

Some one name Mike Parrotta called from this number, very rude and wouldn't give me any information as to what he wanted.  I am not sure if it from the 843 area code or not for when I called back a lady answered.

Mike Parrotta keeps calling here and when I call back, his mailbox is always full.

Here's his scam:  He claims to be the president of the South Carolina fire Fighters' Association - I just called them, and he is not.  I gave them his name and number so they can look into it.

I live in SC and just recieved a call from 843 215 5293. I have NO clue who it is or what he wanted, but Mike Parrotta was shown on my called idea. Its a SC area code but my area code is 864 the upstate of SC.

I got a call yesterday (10/8/11) from this number and my caller ID showed Mike Parrotta.....I, too live in upstate SC and have no idea who this person is....

just got a call from 1-8430-215-5293. when i answered i heard a male voice ask for me. i said this is, calledr said his bookkeeping records indicate i did not send in my 30 dollars to the mn police association. i asked who are you? he told me his name is mike and how dare i not send my money in. i got gruff and replied with i never received a call or letter from anyone. then mike says i did and how now he doesn't have time for me and he'll call back later and hangs up.
HEY MIKE, IF YOU ARE READING THIS I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU. I WORK FOR THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. ENOUGH SAID.

As with a lot of other people on this blog, I also live in SC. Please someone nail this guy.

we got the call today.  i hate a scammer!

This guy keeps calling everyday....so irritating....i just answer No....No....No..... and he hangs up.

I too just call from this number. The only reason I answered was because my caller ID said ,"parrotta, mi
" being I have family in MI , I thought it was a Michigan call. I answered and kept saying Hello, hello and he didn't answer but just sat there and finally hung up. I too called back. The vm said it was the South Carolina Firefighters Assoc.By reading previous posts I too feel it is a scam and should be investigated!!!!

This classy "gentleman" called my home this afternoon at 4:30.  He said he was from the "professional firefighters" blahblahblah.  I stated it was not a good time as we were eating dinner.  The jerk then said "You are eating dinner at 4:30?".  Of course, we weren't. However, I let him know what he could do with himself and his level of professionalism.  

We are on the DNC list but still get calls from "non profits" and the like.  I have never encountered any telemarketer that was that.......rude (to put it nicely).

I get phone calls EVERY day from this number.  He is very rude, asks for owner, and hangs up on me every time I ask what this is in reference to.  Not sure how to get all our numbers off his calling list, but its extrememely rude and disruptive.
