Got a call saying it's an investigator needing to talk to me and that if he didn't hear from me that there will be 2 warrants signed for my arrest. I think that's a scam but i dont know

The way the scam works, the scammer gives you a chance to buy your way out of trouble, but you have to pay by giving him your bank account or credit card number right this second.  He starts spending your money immediately.  By the time you get the account closed he has spent thousands of dollars.
