Caller asked us by name. Said there was no message. this is a wireless phone number.

Caller ID said United Breast Cancer. A woman is asking for a commitment of $30-$50 donations and says to hold for another person to get your information. She then asks for your bank / credit card number.

Telemarketers calling about charity donations are always a scam.  Yes they give a few pennies out of every dollar they get to the charity just to keep it legal.  They pocket the rest.  If you want to donate give directly to the charity that way 100% of the money stays with them.

Called and did not answer at 8;30am and then called back at 11;30. Did not answer but now blocked. Not a real charity.  Scum.  Blocked for good..

Call to my cell. I don't pay Verizon to obtain the full callerID information so can't confirm the name of the caller. However, I'd never provide credit card information to anyone on a call that I didn't initiate anyway so no use answering calls from unknown numbers.

Trying to sell $1000 worth of insurance. Must have changed their scam.......now blocked

Then you might want to invest in a call blocker. No one here can prevent you from receiving calls as this is simply a website to help identify unknown phone numbers.

Called Under United Breast C ( I'm Guessing Cancer Since Caller Id Only Showed It Exactly As I Typed It Above) but couldn't answer at work so typed number in Google and this is how I got here. From the other post seems to be scam smh

called after 9pm. computer generated voice. I kept asking "do you know what time it is?" got the answer yes and uh huh but would not answer me. So, can we count on your support? That's when I hung up

Same. Got a call from this number (843-310-3735) on my mobile phone at 1:05pm on 7/30/2016. Didn't recognize the number so let it go to voicemail. They did indeed leave a voicemail but when I played it, it was an automated message that was partially cut off; all I heard was something about most people not having enough money to cover funeral expenses. They went on to say they were an insurance company rated A+ with the Better Business Bureau and could provide adequate coverage so that in the event of a tragedy, I (The person receiving the call) didn't have to leave loved ones broke and without dignity. Then they kept saying to press "2" now over and over again, like six times.

Deleted and number blocked.

The number 843-310-3735 keeps calling several times a day.  I do not answer.   Would like to know how I can block it.

It is some kind of bogus scam just to get your money.

Definitely a scam. Here's a scary thought, these are the future of our country. Talked to my 34yo about that thought and could see the concern on his face when he thought of the number of complete idiots he went to school with and the fact they are going to be running things in a few years. If you give any of your personal information to anyone that calls asking for anything financial or keep all that information on your phone, your asking to be hacked,and have no-one but yourself to blame. This is not new.Kinda like over 10yrs of the dangers of texting and driving. Folks don't listen. Personally I never have and never will do either.

We're in the middle of a hurricane and this older sound female called.  She had my first name and told me I was more difficult to get a hold of than her grandchildren.  I asked her who she was and she went on to say that she was from some breast cancer charity.  I attempted to tell her we were in the middle of hurricane preparations and she just talked right over me, wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise.  So I just hung up.  Unbelievable.
