Got 3 calls from this number today (April 8, 2015)  - first hung up, then second and third had recorded message saying it was a second call about an enforcement proceeding of the US Treasury, and we would be subject to a criminal proceeding if
we didn't respond.  The recording said to call a Dennis Grey at the number which appeared on our caller id (843-561-4781). I suspect the call may have come from a prison, and is part of the plethora of calls being made trying to scare people
into thinking the IRS is after them.  The caller id says "Mullins, S.C."

Same story here. Threatening phone call and he knew my name too. I actually talked to a live person before the call was cut off. Now it is busy.

We also got three call s from this number today with the same message.  The message said we would be subject to criminal proceedings if we did not return the call.  It was a recording and no live person spoke during the call that has been made repeatedly to our house today.  Can't the police trace this number back and make them stop?

    Caller ID:  Mullins, SC

This terrorist left a threatening voicemail message on my phone.

The terrorist in question identified himself as "Dennis Grace" (or "Dennis Grey"), who was obviously trying to affect an American accent.

In his voicemail, "Dennis" said he was calling in regards to an "enforcement action executed by the U.S. Treasury" and that if I ignore his threats, I could find myself "appearing in front of a magistrate judge or a federal jury for a federal criminal offense."

By making the above-described terrorist threats over the phone, "Dennis" should be legally required to appear in front of a judge or a federal jury for committing multiple federal criminal offenses.

The Call Type pull down menu should include a category called Terrorist Threats.

Same story as above. Same person. Same threat. It was laughable but if he calls enough people, he is bound to get someone scared enough to give him information he is phishing for.

A message similar to those noted above was on my voicemail. The caller identified himself as Dennis Gray noting an enforcement action by the US Treasury which could lead to a federal criminal offense. Hopefully anyone who receives this message takes the time to plug the phone number into Google and reaches this website to realize it is a scam phone call.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Received a call from 843-561-4781 and I let it go into the answering machine. The caller ID said Mullins SC and the caller had a foreign accent. The recording stated this was an enforcement proceeding of the US Treasury, and I would be subject to a criminal proceeding if I didn't respond back.
Obviously a scam. Blocked the number!

An update to my previous post:

"Dennis Grey" left three -- count them, three! -- identical voicemail messages on my phone yesterday.

Unfortunately (for me), his latter two messages went unimpeded into my blocked calls folder.  I wish my phone would prevent such messages from getting through at all.

I love how scumbug "Dennis" ends his threatening message with this inimitable quote:

"I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you.  Thank you."

Good lord, he is thanking me!  lol

April 11, 2015 - Listened to a voice mail message from Dennis Grace regarding an enforcement action executed by the U.S. Treasury and if ignored I could find myself appearing before a magistrate judge or grand jury for a criminal offense.  Dennis left his number 904 638-5276 and then repeated the number.  I do not know the number he was calling from.

I was very concerned since I am currently working with IRS on a previous tax year.  After receiving that voice mail message I had planned to call IRS on Monday.  I'm glad I googled his name and found out it was scam; now I do not have to make the call to IRS.

Caller represented the US Treasury, and said agents were on their way within 45 minutes to arrest me.  They wanted me to paid my back taxes, and I said I haven't paid them in 10 years.  They wanted $8,000 minimum to avoid getting arrested.  I called back several times to continue playing out the story, and got Robby twice.  He was annoyed that I kept calling back, but they called me 6 times today.  After several calls, they now have me identified as a "non-player".  When I call, it answers with a busy tone for a several seconds and then disconnects.

Heavy Indian accent, suggests this operation is being run from overseas.
