Which bank?

I got text asking me to call about my inquiry to Adminstrative Assistant job opening

I also got a text asking me to call about a job.  Replied "stop" and was notified the message came from Career Network job alerts.

text message from this number says:

gigats: Hi Eric, you inquired about the Bank Teller Job. Call me at (844) 205-5945 to talk about the next steps. (txt STOP to cancel)

I did apply to a few bank banking positions yesterday, but none of them were "bank teller" positions, which leads me to believe that this is just spam. you would think that this if this was a legitimate text message from the actual employer, that they would at least identify the specific title to the job position that you applied for.

Well, I just hung up on the Gigats robot! Never heard of these guys either. What it is, is a service that may or may not send you leads on jobs. You might've started an application and/or uploaded a resume, but this call will not address that job. It's a voice recorded interview that interacts with you - to a point. If you ask very specific questions like " can you tell me more about the position I applied for " it throws it off, and it jumps around looking for an answer. It will ask for background specifics on your education. Ask it "is there is anything on my resume that stands out"? It cannot answer. The primary focus for them is to get you lined up with continuing education. Aside from the level of technology being pretty good, it's not what you think it is. In my opinion, they are not going to pass your info along to the employer that posted that job, if it even exists. I won't call it a complete scam but I will call it a complete waste of my job seeking time!

Was texted by this company after looking at a few online job boards...just a company spam texting for you to pay for their service

Don't even open those numbers. They can have a virus attached. I delete them once I Google them.

I received a text from this number asking me to call about a position I applied for.  I am looking for a job but I am not interested in furthering my education.  It appears to me that many spam artists are using personal data to market to what may or may not be an appropriate contact.  Thanks to everyone who commented.  It was a big help!
