The caller phoned me twice and I picked up the second call and the voice said that it is very important to get an lawyer or something and to respond by today or legal actions will be fallen upon you

Got the same message. The person identified himself as Canadian Revenue Agency. However, he never addressed me by name, and his message was structured really weird. I called the number, and instead of being CRA, it was a guy who answered simply by 'hello'. Very likely a scam.

This is the voicemail message that I received
"From : 8442131026, Sep 22, 2016, 10:33:25 AM, 38 sec.

"Message. I need you or your retained attorney to give us a call. This is officer Robert Williams. Our toll free number will be 1-844-213-1026. I repeat it's 1-844-213-1026. Now don't disregard this message and do return the call if I don't hear from you or your attorney either the legal situation unfolds on you. Have a nice day. Goodbye."

Obviously it's a scam. Don't answer calls from this number.

Oh yes I received a similar call from an Officer Robert from this number but I didn't hear his last name. The call dated back on Thursday September 22nd in the morning. He said he was from the Investigations Department of IGL taxation office. Phoned the number and it rang once, then silence so I hung up.

Had the same call from Officer Tyler the day before and it sounded like the exact same man. When I called, that number couldn't be completed. It was 161286078590. I don't even know how to format it properly.

Had the same call! His name was officer Gilliam!! Lol
Also called from an 1844-213-1026 and he called a couple times finally I decided to call and pretended to be concerned about the payments I need to make and mentioned how I would come by his office immediately with cash so I needed his address, haven't heard from him since!!!
