Got a call saying this company has a suit against me for payday loan from 2011.  Said they hired a locator service and I would be served with papers and they could not help me resolve the debt once the papers were served.  They would not give me their address, email or fax #.  No way to verify debt is valid.  The caller said the name of the company is Midwest and they are located in California  (which seems odd to begin with!)

Received a phone call from Vicky Larson from Midwest. Was very hateful and wouldn't give hardly any information about the payday loan that they were having a suit against me for. Said if i didn't pay balance up front before i received paper work, they couldn't help me. Told them i didn't have the money to pay whole balance up front today and had to go due to something coming up at my work. Lady was stern and said good luck and hung up on me. the payday loan was from september 2012, but had never contacted me previously. I believe this is a scam!
