Got a call yesterday, trying to set up apts. for solar farm participation for Eversource.  I don't know why Eversource doesn't send written info for this.  I would be interested in learning about it , but with all the crazy calls we get on a daily basis I would be unlikely to give any info out to anyone even legitimate co.  Don't feel I can trust anyone any more!

I got a cal from a call center in Henderson NV pitching a online introduction to explain and then hopefully participate in a "solar garden" that would allow me lower bills from Eversource and National Grid. HOWEVER, they would not confirm those energy firms are those offering this intro, nor would they name who the sponsor of the call is, nor would they send me anything in writing AND they want to do an online presentation which might require access to your computer.  In short no company name, no validation and access to your computer (perhaps a cloud webinar but you still have to give them info). Calls to local solar garden said many firms are calling like this and no way to prove they are legit. Nothing in writing is a bad sign. Called the local police to let them know as there are many elderly in my community in MA.  I also reported them to the FTC.

They just call and do not leave a message.
Caller ID reads "TOLL FREE CALL".
I never answer these types of calls.

had a message left on my message on my machine with a computer saying "Thank you for your call. You are caller number 6 the estimated wait time is 15 seconds." they tied up my answering machine for full time allowed for messages and then my machine disconnected, I NEVER called them.

Next Step Solar is the company.

I got the same type of call that Eileen R got. The call makes it sound as if you called them! New gimmick they must be using. Says to please hold, all associates are busy. I didn't call them, they called me. So I blocked them. Jerks!

We got a call from this number today at 2:33 pm and didn't answer. The caller ID was UNKNOWN NAME. When I called back (our number is hidden by default on outgoing calls) a woman answered and said they were calling homes in Massachusetts regarding solar farms. When I asked what company she represented, she replied that they don't represent any particular company. When I pointed out that we are on the Do Not Call Registry she apologized by saying a few numbers slip through. I said this was nonsense and that I would report them.

Surprisingly they left a message that they are looking for the homeowner and would call back another time.
