I received a phone call from this number insisting that I knew a person which I have never heard of. This man had my name and was trying to serve me some sealed document for a male (whose name I do not recognize) and said that I was this persons family member. He was extremely rude and made me to feel as if I was a liar and had committed some crime. Said he believed me as much as he believed Santa Claus was real.  Not sure if this is a scam or just a very rude person but when you tell a person they have reached the wrong party it should be honored.

This is a scam! Just got a call from a women who said I was being used and needed to serve me papers.

Got a voicemail from a restricted number this morning and they left a voicemail. A lady by the name of "Rebecca Davis" was leaving a voicemail for my mother-in-law (not sure how they associated my cell number with my mother-in-law's name) and that they were a private courier service and they had a sealed affidavit of service to deliver. She also said that there would need to be a witness to sign and to provide 2 forms of ID. She left a call back number of 844-216-5646 ext. 406 and a case number of xxxxxx. I then called my wife and explained it to her, so she's calling the number with the case number to find out what's going on. Before "Rebecca" hung up, she did mention something about stopping at her (mother-in-law's) work and house to deliver the documents, but if she wanted to put a 'stop order' on it, she could. Soooo, my gut is telling me that this is a scam to try and fear people into paying for a stop order on an imaginary court case over them being sued by someone. Nice try, [***].

HAHA. So my wife called them and said they were running around in circles. Then my wife stated that she was [mother-in-law's name here] attorney. In the end, they said there must have been a mistake in the paperwork. So yeah, SCAM!!!!

someone called from 1-844-216-5646 and not only called husband but me too.  She says her name is Marie Congie form Macomb County Private Courier.  Yet her phone number comes up unlisted.  she leaves a voice mail.  I called Macomb County Circuit Courts and they refer me to the website of www.macombgov.org or you can search in google for Macomb County Court Public Access.  You type in your first and last name only and if there is anything out there for you (in Macomb) then it would show up.  In others words, this is a scam and the people should get their facts together before they try and SCAM someone.
