called saying its a call from debt collector, and i have to call back on the number for details

Same. got the call twice in the past 4 days saying they are from EOSCCA and about debt collection.  FRAUD!!!!!  do not call back...   Debt collectors should not be calling cellphones, only send regular mail with address and phone number on it.

Received the same call.  It said it was a debt collector and I needed to call back on same #.  Scary thing is family member is involved in litigation which made me think it could be legitimate. I sure hope not.

This company keeps calling and asking for my DOB.  When I ask who they are and why they are calling they terminate the conversation because I will not give them my DOB.

They called me too and the woman on the line started with the whole "this call may be monitored and recorded" which made the call seem "official" and she proceeded to ask me for my birthdate for verification.  I asked her what birthdate do you have on file for me and she went on to say "I know what birthdate I have for you, I just need you to verify it".  I asked her what company she is with and why she was calling, and she said she wasn't able to provide me with that kind of information unless I told her my birthdate.  I simply said ~ with all that's going on in this world, how did she expect me to give her my BD information, she didn't respond to my question and she cut our line.
