- CourtneyI received a call a few weeks ago from someone claiming to be a pre litigation firm advising that I took out a loan 4 yrs ago and never paid it back. They were threatening arresting me and charging me with check fraud. They couldn't provide proof of the debt, and said the burden was on me to provide proof that I did NOT take out the loan. The bank account they had has since been closed so I was supposed to go to my bank and have them help me fish for info.
Now I received a text message from my sister yesterday that they called her, HER sister-in-law, AND her husbands parents! They violated a number of federal laws speaking to them about my supposed debt. If they call back, they will be recorded, and I am filing a complaint with th - Angel| 1 replyThis is a phishing caller matching your phone number to a name.
Called me with a female auto caller stating this was a litigation process server agency.
I get nosy and called back to find a male caller with a "Jersey" accent.
The next time this happens I will not call back.
Process servers don't call you they are paid to find you and serve you with a warrant or
a court summons. - Linda replies to Angeli had same message on my machine saying I have a court date in superior court, that I need to respond in 72 hrs, I call and keep getting recording of a guy that another girl mentioned in her article named Steve. He never picks up. Must b a scam. What are they gaining out of this tho? Don't get it.
- AbeI just received a recorded message from a lady named Sara Roberts saying that I have a court date and will be served papers in 72 hours if I don't call them to settle with the plaintiff. Looks a scam. I didn't call back.

- MarcyI received a call from "Sara Roberts" telling me on a recorded message that my name is attached to a Judgement and gave me 72 hours to contact 844 221 4334 to settle with complaintant. She claimed to be a process server. First, process servers do not give you a heads up they are looking for you. Secondly, she mentioned a docket number without giving a number, however, duh! A docket number is assigned by Court and the Court has the defendant served. These people are using every catch phrase possible in attempt to care people that do not know any better. They have no case, they have no docket number and calling relatives just might help them get $$ from the unsuspecting relative or friend trying to help out the person this company is asking for. They use skip trace technology which is how they get everyone and their pet goldfish telephone number and address. They break the Fair Credit laws as well by advising the relative, neighbor, friend, that they have a summons or judgement against you. Sara probably works from home, with her prepared speech if she reaches a human. She makes so many calls a day or night and is paid accordingly.
I am a law student. I am preparing a brief for the State Attorney General and will go from there.
Good Luck...don't let them scare you. If they claim they have a judgement or docket, have them provide proof of debt. THAT IS THE LAW! Have them send proof of docket and judgement as well. By the way, it does not become a judgement until the Judge says so.- Caller: Liars Inc.

- Digna Cassens| 1 replyHi, I just received a similar call from this number with same names, Sara Robert & Dean Culvert. However, my wonderful Verizon service also captures the name the number is under, which is a Jack O'Brien. Most likely all names are false anyway. My message stated I had 72 hrs to resolve the matter out of court or was expected at "District Court" in 72 hours. Stupid people, what district court? there as so many where I live? and what case? I have no active cases now (I work as a legal consultant). Hope no one ha fallen for these scammers.

- Annoyed"Sara Roberts" called stating this was a litigation process server agency and had me on schedule to be served in the next 72 hours, or I could call them to "possibly avoid being served". Process servers don't call you they are paid to find you and serve you with a warrant or a court summons. Phishing BS. Don't return the call.

- RuiSays her name is Sara Roberts and that she is with a Mutual Life Process Servers. The number she's calling from is 855-607-1359 (which isn't attached to anything google could find) but asks you to call 844-221-4334, the supposed "plaintiff" (that number shows nothing attached to it either!). Her message is: "Hi, this is Sara Roberts of Mutual Life Process Servers. Our records indicate that there is a case file attached to your name and social with your district court. You should have received a certified mailing and you have 72 hours to contact the plaintiff regarding this matter." She mentions something about me being sure to use my case number when I call them to "resolve this matter", but doesn't mention one.
This is not the first time they've called either. Same spiel every time. My credit is clean, I've never taken out any loans, never defaulted on payments for anything. Nice try, but I'm not falling for this garbage. Especially since process servers ring your doorbell, not your phone.- Caller: Mutual Life Process Servers
