- Anonym| 3 repliesScammers the company this lady said she worked for was crg. CAPITAL RESOLUTIONS GROUP. YEAH LOOKED IT UP DOESN'T EXIST Her name was Katelyn Nelson. Left a message on my cell when I called her back she just answered hello this is katelyn. Yeah sounds really professional. Asked her to send me info through the mail an she wanted to get the conversation over with quickly. So it's a total scam until I see paperwork proving it to be legit. Which I highly doubt they can come up with. Lowlife need to get a job an quit trying to scam others out of their hard earned money.

- WolfmanJack replies to Anonym| 2 repliesI found a company by that name in florida which was formed in December of 2014. No other information as to what they do, no BBB page, and no registration as a collection agency.
In most cases if they want you to pay immediately without sending the required documents they are criminals.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

An their address shows to be out of new York on the email. I also called the county they said this company cardinal management was supposedly filing a case against me in an they have no records of me or that company in the county. I also sent a complaint to the attorney generals office as well. Thanks
- michael replies to AnonymI like an idiot was in a rush so I paid them $590. They emailed me a letter saying the account was resolved. But the letter head was all fictitious. They even put a non-existent address. Then in September they tried it again. I checked their info against my bank, and the courts here in New Mexico. All lies.
