A guy with a southern accent left a msg stating that I faxed some documents to him with my Social Security Number on it and that it pertains court documents.  He gives 1-844-245-8878 as a phone number for me to call to find out more.  Not sure what type of scam this is, but it's not legit.

Yes me too... same msg left on my VM. Same accent, etc.

Called in caller blocked left message saying he had my ss and names on legal doc left number to call back 844-245 ect sounded like he's from the east

Bill Penske Called my brother about a legal doc with his name and social on it. When he called back they told him I had used him as a reference and said it was a summons to appear in court. Then when I called it was a generic voice mail without any info such as name or anything.

Just got the very same voicemail not responding its a scam!

Just got the same message a few minutes ago! How the heck are they getting our phone numbers? They try to scare you by saying they are court documents. I don't have any court cases.

Got a vm also from these people claiming i need to sign for court documents. Be aware. Don't know how they are getting personal cell #s!

Got the same msg today etc, etc.  If you have a real summons for court appearance, the clerk of the court will mail or deliver the summons.   I really like this web site!!

Got Bill's call this morning(from this number)-  Let's see- claims to have info on me, claims for some upcoming court case... what a dirtbag scammer...

Just got the call as everyone else. They are trying to scare people. Don't fall for it. It's a scam big time.

Just got the same call from Bill Penske too.......have no idea about this call.....sounds like a scam to me!

I received the exact same message..the name Bill Penski....a Southern accent. .mentioned jibber about my S.S.. #...and about signing some legal documents. .also left the same number to return the message. .. I reported his name and number to the FBI..CIA...to Obama. .to my city police department. .and even wrote his number on many..many...many restroom stalls...

I got a call today from a blocked number and they left a msg.  It is clearly a total scam.  Everyone needs to report them to the FTC and FBI they take care of these kinds of calls.

I also got this call and left message that he had my name and ss number, need me call 8442458878. I feel this guy annoy and insult us, should report to FBI to catch him out.
