Received a call saying I owe money.

Received call saying I would be served legal documents.  RE: Visa CC

Recieved call from liscenced document courrier... Said they were delivering legal documents. Didn't know what documents so I called number left in the voicemail. Said they were office who handled paperwork for law firms and I had claim being filed against me. Asked what for... old debt I forgot about from years ago. Now being taken to court to pay back. Waiting for documents to be delivered.

Hi Linda --- what exactly is this "old debt" you are being taken to court for?  What is the name of the "office who handed paperwork for law firms"?  Since apparently you have issues with old debt, do "process servers" frequently call you in advance before bringing you paperwork?

Called this number and they identified themselves as Integrated Claims Bureau with a corporate mailing address of 7162 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Oh 45237.  I would not talk with these folks over the phone since their tactics are clearly a violation of the fair credit reporting act.  Send a certified letter requesting information and validation of the debt.

Received a call from a courier saying he will be delivering legal papers to my home on wed between 12 &5 pm. First, courier don't call before delivering and second, he didn't verify my address. I ask who the papers were from he couldn't tell me but gave a phone number and a file number. I called the phone number and dumbazz chick on the other didn't listen when I said that papers would be delivered. She gave me basic info saying that the suit was for a master card from 2002, I told her I never had a master card and she had the person. It's a scam, it's always a scam nice way to start the new year out dealing scam artists using illegal scare tactics. If this was in fact a legal matter then I would have received info by now not almost 12 yrs later!

Have been receiving a call from an unknown source which happens to be some sort of courier service. Never identified herself or the company and furthermore who calls before delivering. Anyway she then gave me another # to call if i had questions so I called and they answered ICB gave a so called case number. She said she needed to place me on hold to look for the hard copy. When she came back she said it was from BOA and a line of credit I took out back in 2001 they filed a civil suit because i took this line of credit with the intention to defraud the company. Have no idea what she was talking about and ask in what court was this filed she said NCC, I then asked for a case number which there should be one if it was filed of course there was none. So i then called the NCC courts and as i figured nothing is outstanding nor was there anything new. I called this number back and asked for a supervisor which she said i was speaking to her. Explained that this was a scam to collect something from 14 years ago and that I called my courts and there was nothing there. I then told her I called the attorney generals office and they are investigating. I also informed her not to call me or have that so called courier service call me and before i could finish she hung up on me....Go figure...

They have called every day for two weeks saying today is the day legal documents are being delivered.  Never showed up because it is a scam.  I refuse to call back.  They can call me every day ig they want.  I dont answer and same message is left every day

I've gotten calls from a "restricted number" for the last week- all going to voice mail.  Today they left a "final notice", the individual (a Derrick Morgan if you can believe it...) gave this number to call because he was sending the claim to that office.

Problem is... the individual he named that this claim was for... is not not ME and a name I don't even recognize.  So likely a scam.. or someone in deep debt who had this number (which is odd because I've had the same number for 5+ years now).

Yeah i just received a call yesterday from a Pete Frasier saying he received some paperwork with my social security number. He gave me a claims # & told me that was going to come to my employment and home to provide me with certification regarding a mastercard credit account from 1999. He left me a ph # 1-888-436-2040 2 call to resolve this. But when I called the lady I spoke with she was shocked that he told me to call that phone #. 1999 ???  We're in 2015. Is this a scam ???

I received the exact same phone call except his ne was not Pete Fraiser but Eric Fraiser! Yes going to show up at my place of employment (I currently don't even work) and home between 12-5 pm.

REAL process servers do NOT call!!!  They come without warning!

I got the EXACT same call - supposedly over a pay day loan - exact same wording you have here, but insert payday loan for line of credit.  The guys name was Tim Conway and gave this number 888.436.2040 to call back.  When I called back I got the girl that answered gave me the exact same script... I told them it was already paid, over two years ago, and I had the paperwork to prove it.  She gave me an email address and I sent the company the information.  I called back today - just to hear what they had to say about that, and she said, we need the original account number of the debt - well you should already have that - shouldn't you.  They are going to be kind enough to put a hold on my account so they don't serve me with papers Monday morning - wait you told me you were a law office the first time, now you are the courier service...

I get calls from Integrated Claims Bureau stating I owe money and will be served or go to jail.

I told them if they keep harassing me I'd take their fake [***] to the FBI.

It appears to be dishonest scam on folks ignorance of fair business practices and debt.
