844-270-0403

this number came up on ;my caller id as AOL LEGAL....not true!! Do not answer or talk to them

Received a call from that number they claimed to be from AOL and said was account was compromised and that someone would be able to access my personal information and bank account. The guy said he could help me fix it. Told him no thanks I had someone that worked on my computer and I hung up.

a message said my aol account had suspicious activeity and to press 1 to talk to aol tech. i hung up.

Got a call from 844-270-0403 telling  to "press 1" I did, and the guy (with a foreign accent, as if he were in Pakistatn or India perhaps, as is the case sometimes when you call AOL) told me that there is a lot of activity on my AOL account, and that someone is trying to access bank information.  I started to procede with his instructions, but after a minute became suspicious and hung up.  I "live-chatted" with AOL, they told me that they have been receiving similar examples of such a scenario, and that AOL NEVER calls you, unless thatey are returning a call tat you initiated, and that it is definitely a scam.

This guy called and said my aol account was compromised and my bank accounts could be in jeopardy, I told him that I would
have my husband call and take care of it. He said " no no no no no, just do what I tell you. I hung up, called back and it was
the same Indian or Pakistani who answered. I hung hop. This is a SCAM!!!
